This morning, 7/21
 Pumpkin baby starting!
 Cantaloupe baby is growing.
Harvested 3 tomatoes before anyone else got them! One of my plants, it looks like something lays on it to sleep each night!

From the front yard. My sister brought me this Crepe Myrtle for my birthday last year. I LOVE the color! It has always been my favorite color for this flower and I have wanted one for years.

Today in my garden.
I gathered 3 tomatoes. I can hold them all in one hand so they are not as big as they look.
Checked the progress on my first cantaloupe.
and found another one! It is harder to see and the picture does not help. It is bigger than my fist at this point and very well hidden in the leaves.

Pumpkin vines. I heard lots of bees busy in them the other day while watering.

We opened up the back garden to the horses and goats. The goats haven't discovered it yet but the horses have been feasting on it. Between my knee surgery, sprained wrist, and me not being able to be in the heat, the grass & weeds went wild and it wasn't being watered enough. Dh did the best he could but working 15 hr days 5-6 days a week and caring for the animals he didn't have time for gardening. As of 2 weeks ago we were just picking 2-3 okra a day (huge grasshoppers were eating the leaves) so decided to end it. Still have the watermelon garden going. About a month ago dh picked around 15 watermelons. Shared them with friends and kept a few for ourselves. There are a few more melons that are growing. When those are picked that will be the end of that garden.

LOL I am not sure. I know they are not huge but not the small pie pumpkins either. Though to be fair, I make pie out of any pumpkin I have.
Here is my first baby pumpkin! At least the first I see, I am not climbing all over the pumpkin plants to look for babies!
The Crepe Myrtle my sister plants for my birthday last year.
