It's been a while. My depression took me down a deep hole and I'm slowing climbing out. My Dr. has changed my long time medication and we have been adjusting doses. I have good and bad days.
My oldest(a teacher) was scheduled to tour around Asia this summer, but, due to the pandemic that got pushed back a year. She came home and helped me clear out some clutter. We took 5 SUV loads of stuff to the Humane Society Thrift Store. It really felt good. There is still more decluttering to do, in fact, I have another load for my husband to take tomorrow. It is a good feeling to let go of the stuff.
We were also able to travel back with her to Vegas for a week. We spent the time visiting some outdoor sites we usually pass up. It was a relaxed week and I really needed it.
My other daughter also lives in Vegas. She is the Artist Services Coordinator at a Performing Arts Center. Due to the pandemic all acts/shows were cancelled until 2021. She was furloughed starting 7/1, but, will get benefits until Jan. Hopefully they will be able to open up again, so she can get back to work. Her boyfriend is the Assistant Manager of the Aria hotel pool and he was furloughed at the start of the pandemic, but, was called back to work in June to help get several of the MGM property pools ready to open on July 1. They are hoping he stays safe as he is training lifeguards and can't social distance while teaching how to save a person from drowning. It is causing my daughter to be stressed as she is my worrier.
I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.
