Is anyone else trying this? It's a combo of intermittent fasting and one big keto meal/day, with emphasis on "the ridiculously big salad." I started in the beginning of August when Princess left for college. DH was driving her there and I didn't want him trying to talk me out of just eating one meal a day until I could show him that it worked and that I was healthy and happy eating this way. He was concerned at first but is completely supportive now and loving teh results. I've lost more than 20 pounds in a little over a month, and it's actually been pretty easy. I'm in a facebook group for "bears" and several people have lost over 100 pounds and are keeping it off. I don't have quite that much to lose--my goal is 45--but I'm pretty happy with how simple it has been. The best thing is that I no longer have to take ibuprofen for anything and my joints don't ache when I first get up in the morning. I do miss eating a few things, but I found chocolate and ice cream that I can have as a special treat so I'm really not feeling deprived. There are a few items I won't allow in he house: chocolate ice cream, Oreos, and Chex mix forbidden because I know I can't resist them. Any other flavor of ice cream is fine.

The second month wasn't quite as crazy for weight loss, but I'm down another seven pounds, which moved me into "normal" BMI range. I also wasn't as strict with myself this past month and allowed myself a fair amount of keto chocolate and the occasional snack. Still thrilled with how easy and adaptable it is!
