Do you save change? Change can add up. I have a big RED cola bottle jar. My goal is to clean out my purse monthly and put my change in it. We get paid once a month, so for me to have change is rare but I do get out a smidgeon of cash as my allowance each month. i can save change from that surely! Anyone want to join me?

I do! Whenever I accumulate change in my purse, I scoop it out and transfer it to my piggy bank. A full piggy can usually buy me a tank of gas.

We have a big pretzel jar that we fill with change. It gets deposited in the kids' bank accounts a couple of times a year. (I also raid it when my neighbor is short quarters for laundry and I don't want to do it for her or let her use my machine.)

We don't now - not really. In the past I have, and it really adds up! I do have a change jar, but it just sits and waits most of the time now.

I have some plastic containers (with lids) that held 3 lbs of bird food. I put loose change in it. In a decorative box that I have my meds in I put my egg money. Right now I have $177 in it. It is my "Go see Helen fund".

It is harder now when 98% of the shopping and such is done via Debit card. When I go places with MJ, he sucks up the change and it goes in the car. I need to work on this more diligently.

I put another handful of change in the bank. I can always tell when it's time to do this, because my purse gets heavy and emptying the change lightens the load.

We used to save change, but now we always use our credit card. I just never have any change anymore.

Time to empty my purse again. I'm surprised to have accumulated more change in such a short time, but I guess it adds up while running errands. So, the old piggy will be a bit fatter!

I know this was posted a while back, but I'm a change-saver! I don't normally carry cash and rarely have change, but I swipe whatever hubby brings home and add it to my change bank. I plan to cash it out closer to the holidays to use it for gifts or stocking stuffers.

We did this at church a few months ago. Used one of those big jugs that goes on a water machine. It didn’t look like we had collected very much but it came to over $300.

I emptied my piggy bank and rolled the coins. There was $30 in there. Yippie!

My purse was getting so heavy and I wondered why. Just realized there was a bunch of change that needed put in the piggy bank again. It's amazing how much weight change adds!
