Being on SSDI our funds are very limited. We do now and then get help. The one area I can control most easily is the grocery budget. Most of the time... If I stick to my budget, and the electric, gas and water stay on target I will have $200 a month. Every 3rd month I will get a reimbursement from the Kidney foundation for medicare payments. That money is 1/2 earmarked for savings and 1/2 for stocking up on things that do not perish, like tp, laundry soap and pantry/freezer stuff.
This month is a bit of a stock up month (thanks to the stimulus check) I have spent roughly $300. This was stock up money. Should we have a different thread for that?
