Good Morning Ladies. It is windy here and that of course brings on a sinus headache. Bah It isn't like I am getting things done anyway but still.
I need to create some kind of grocery list. I can't dirty pots at least until it warms up enough where I can go outside to wash them. With this cold, I think NOAA called it an artic wind, even if it hits 70 it is too cold to do anything outside. So I need to peruse the frozen food and sandwich aisles. Just 5 more weeks. Then I will have 2 really nice bathrooms. Today will be listing more Barbie stuff. Doing the round of surveys. The usual.

I woke at 6 A.M. with needed to go to the bathroom and a roaring sinus headache. My neck was in so much pain I couldn't get back to sleep, and I couldn't take anything on an empty stomach, so I got up and ate some avocado and goat cheese toast and washed last night's dishes, made the bed and made a batch of my diabetic recipe egg cups. Filled Ryan's bento box with lunch food and now to shower and get to the work I didn't do yesterday. I have more sorting to do in my bedroom, getting out spring wear and packing away the heavy winter garb. I also need to iron and do a workout later.

Animals have been fed and eggs taken to the mailbox for a customer to pick up. Worked on Helen's birthday gift for awhile until my knee started hurting (standing at the bed pinning it together) and dog wanted to lay on the bed. I need to wash dishes and do a little more work on the sewing room. Dh took my car to work this morning, but I need to deliver eggs this afternoon, so he's going to pick me up on his way back from Houston so I can get the car. Last night I made skillet lasagna and dh wants it again tonight. I'll have to make my own pasta sauce because the can of it I used last night raised my blood sugar a little.

Well, today is about... I don;t know. Thriving during chaos?
Yesterday, we found out our HVAC needs to be replaced. Now, in six months if we make an expensive repair.
They came this morning... and I was displaced from the room I normally teach in. I'm all cobbled together with crazy things in the room where DH & the boys work out. BUT, now it will take them TWO days to finish (at least). I would leave everything here...
BUT....
We are having that crazy dangerous weather (been under a tornado watch now for 3 hours so far). I think we're going to end up sleeping in this room because it's in the basement and DH put all these tumbling mats down for working out (better than sleeping on the floor!). The weather radio's already been going off...
Normally, on Wed we pick up dinner from church. I'm happy they canceled because of the weather (for safety), and even more happily, pulled together a slowcooker meal (I work until 4:55, and DH normally likes to eat AT 5).
Four more classes. The nice thing is that once class starts, I mostly forget about the room around me and the tiny computer screen :-)
And, hopefully, by tomorrow afternoon, it'll all be done except for the bill paying.
In other news, the dogs are going crazy because strangers are dismantling parts of THEIR house.

Sandra, I saw how bad the tornadoes have been in Alabama and was glad you have the basement. Tomorrow we'll be in Houston most all day because dh's dad will be buried then the reading of his will. And I'll be meeting a friend to sell her some eggs.

Hi!
I worked today. We're still down a car but are looking on finding one on auction. Elie dropped me off early so I sat in the cafe and did some knitting. He picked me up after work and I've now been at the restaurant over 2 hours. Ice helped close and now I'm waiting on Hanné to count the drawer so I can follow her home.
A customer today said they were being warned of a possible outbreak tonight. Be careful, Sandra! Another in Oklahoma said to sleep with one eye open since what they got was headed our way. Oh and snow! We're expecting a rain and snow mix in the early hours. 🤦♀️
