Slept late, so I did nothing in the garden beyond watering and feeling guilty. Super hot here, but I braved the heat this morning and walking to the bank ATM and then to the pharmacy so I killed two birds in one trip. Today was baking day so I got that done early too. Bed is made, baking done, quiet time done, now to some dusting and vacuuming.

Yes, this felt like a day of "feats" to me, too.
I taught this morning. I realized during my final morning class that none of my sons were up. Normally, DH gets them up, but he is not home yet. I was trying to surreptitiously call them through Alexa (they have an Alexa in their room), but they had headphones plugged into it, so they didn't hear it ringing. Ugh! They are currently pet sitting and were supposed to have fed those animals already, not to mention our own dogs hadn't been walked or fed. So, I flew out of my final class, rapped on their door, walked the dogs, fed the dogs, gave a mini-lecture on responsibility and if they didn't step up, my only option would be to waken them before I start work (at 5 AM).
Then I took the truck to be serviced. I was anticipating this being a negative experience, but it was very smooth and quick. Yay! (Honestly, DH called them from Chicago before I got there and I think that helped A LOT).
So, I got home for lunch, answered some emails from parents about the upcoming year. I sat through a no-show class, and now I'm getting ready to teach my last class for the week.
I have a chicken I'm going to cut up and grill for dinner. DH should be home in about three hours.
