Tomato Gravy 4 Tbsp. oil 2 or 3 Tbsp. flour Salt and pepper 1 (15-oz.) can diced tomatoes, drained 1 cup water 1 (8-oz.) can tomato sauce Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat; stir in flour. Cook and stir until light brown. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Pour in diced tomatoes and 1 cup water; stir well. Reduce heat. Pour in tomato sauce; stir. Cover and simmer 15 minutes or until thick. Serve over hot biscuits.
