make small crafts, easy to mail? Or just bigger stuff?
I do washcloths/dishcloths. I know Rebekah makes the awesome Jar openers.
does anyone do bookmarks? I used to be able to find on ebay I think the neatest knitted bookmarks. They were crocheted thread some with ribbon in the center and were like $2 a dozen or something. I used to buy bunches of them and gift them with books to folks.
I remember at the kids school bizarres when my boys were in elementary, remember those? I haven't seen one in years. People made and sold those bookworms. With the googly eyes. I miss that kind of stuff.
That is the kind of stuff I need to see again. Just don't know where to look anymore. Everyone thinks everything is gold encrusted now.

I love the same things. Buy the simple ones. They are less expensive. My granddaughter has a face book page where she sells the things she crochets. Incredible creations and the girl never uses a pattern. Lots of things she makes are more involved and more specific and trendy so that’s where the cost comes in. If you’re longing to see some examples and chat with the creators try your fall and Christmas church bazaars! Maybe we can all get something going here? Share ladies! Extra points for pictures! Hugs and God bless, Helen(grammea)

Helen, I have never seen a church bizarre here, in the 28 years I have lived here!
I would love to see that kind of stuff here.
I meant Crochet bookmarks not knitted. Though I bet knitted thread would work too...

I've been crocheting hats and mailing them to the grandkids. I also crochet & knit dishcloths & scrubbies, and dish towels. Also I quilt coasters. In fact my sister's birthday is coming up so I think I'll make a few things for her. She got scrubbies on her last burthday and loved them.

I've been knitting a cowl. I really have not been doing much hand work. I find I can only use so many "things" and the people in our extended family don't appreciate them as gifts. We are (finally) wearing out the dish cloths I made five years ago. Those are fun because they're practical but you can still do fun designs. They work up quick, too.
