How’s that for hyperbole ladies?!? My Saturday is shaping up to be far from spectacular. So far I’ve taken the dog out and….. that’s it! I have a morning routine that I have built into a habit. 1.Take meds 2. Take dog ou 3. Wash and dress 4. Make coffee to drink during morning devotions
I may babysit for two grands today for awhile.
What is everyone else accomplishing today?
Hugs and God bless, Helen(grammea)

Good Morning Ladies.
My first pain free stay at home day!
My list is in 15s.
Strip and remake beds
Clear office of clutter
deep clean kitchen
bathroom
Work on pantry/china room
I need a list of what I have in the pantry and freezer so I can make a meal plan.
Obviously not all of this can be done today, so this is more of a weekend list.

Mel, be careful, don't overdo it.
Helen, I love how your Satuday sounds. I'm in such a busy passage of life that it sounds like a dream!
So, here... DH got home last night. Not too late, but there were still delays with his flight. I guess there was bad weather on the other end - their plane was struck TWICE by lightning before they even took off. Each time meant more time sitting on the tarmac. He said he was just glad they didn't cancel the flight.
I slept until... 6:55. Ladies, I am usually up at 4:30. Even if I don't have to get up, my eyes pop open around 4:25. Not this morning.
I took my sweet time drinking my coffee, solving a puzzle, and browsing the news (online, of course). I miss newspapers. I don't think we can even get delivery here.
I'm working on getting all of my ducks in a row for my classes this week - both the ones with my own kids and other people's kids.
We're going to have an early lunch (REALLY early), go to tae kwon do class, the do some grocery shopping. I have a study session at 2:00 for a certification course I'm taking. Then we're heading back out to Home Depot. I want to get a GIGANTIC recycling bin with a lid, and DS2 needs some special painter's tape for a project.
I have a couple of fairly big boxes I need to go through. I emptied out some drawer units for the garage sale and quickly put the items in boxes. Some of those items can be repurposed, but others I need to put back by my computer.
DH wants to stream a movie tonight. I've been knitting a cowl and I think I'll finish it during the movie, so I want another project lined up.
ANNNNDDD... I volunteered to feed breakfast to all the teens at church tomorrow. So I want to shape a couple dozed sweet rolls today and stick them in the fridge; make some egg bites (also to go in the fridge), and MAYBE (if there's time) make some gluten free scones. One of the kids in the group can't have gluten. While she always gets something (bacon + eggs = no gluten!), it seems like she doesn't get many treats.
Have a great one.

That is sweet of you to think of the GF kid. One of our pastors has celiac disease, so we always have GF options when we have dinners; even our communion elements are GF now. Today is deep cleaning the kitchen including mopping the floors. My dinner plan is French dip with leftover salad.

Sandra, I am being careful. I have made progress, load 1 folded/hung and the biggie... put away! Got trash out. Gathered and got a big box of boxes out to the recycle bin. Rebooted laundry. Sheets drying and living room blankets washing. Unloaded dishwasher and began reloading. My plan is run it each night, full or not. Made eggs in the cooker, peeled and put them away. Then washed the bowl I peeled them in. I did need a 45 minute break but am picking up steam again now.

Beds done. MJ's big blanket washing, living room blankets drying.
Might be time to take a longer break. Do something less energetic like make a whip for dessert.
Maybe put pasta in canisters and find more space in the pantry.
Little stuff for a while, maybe put my feet up in my recliner for a few.
