Tonight I am fixing Korean bibimbap, which is a dish of sticky rice, topped with various vegetables and thin sliced steak with a yummy, spicy sauce. Traditionally it has a poached egg on top, but Ryan and I don't care for poached eggs so I leave that out.

Merrileem, I've heard of that dish but have never tried it. Is it really spicy or just a little?
I'm making cabbage soup for dinner.

Mountain Ma, it can be as spicy as you like or not at all, depending on how much sauce you put in. The sauce is rather spicy but if you only use a little, all those veggies mixed with the rice and sauce can cut the heat a lot. Tonight I am roasting a chicken and we will have corn on the cob and a big garden salad.
Here is the recipe I use. It sounds like more work than it is, but I do little bits throughout the day and stick it in the fridge in small containers til dinnertime, doing the sticky rice last.

Hi! I'm new and haven't posted yet so we will see if I can maneuver this. We are having leftovers...the corned beef and taters from the other night are now a Reuben bake and the taco casserole stuff from last night will be burritos. A little something for everyone.

We had burgers yesterday too. Today I am doing chops and roasted potatoes and a veggie... have not decided what veggie yet.

Welcome Cammillicat! I made burgers last night. Not sure what we're having tonight since I got called into work unexpectedly this morning. I won't get home until around 5:30. Might be sloppy joes or spaghetti.

Friends took us out to dinner last night. Tonight, at Ryan's request, we are doing black bean and chicken tacos.

For the first time since January we went and sat IN a restaurant to eat. We were with our oldest and his wife and our 2 year old grandson. MJ has left overs. I am stuffed. I might have some chips later but I am full atm.

I am making a pot of Ryan's favourite vegan soup tonight. It is easy to make as the chickpeas were already cooked and in the freezer.
