I just have to share a blessing from yesterday! Dd1 and I both need new orthotics badly, but they are very expensive. Yesterday we went to the foot doctor and found out we do not have to get brand new ones made all over again. The old ones can be refurbished as good as new for about 1/4 the original cost.
Before, we had to get new because the kids were still growing. I'm not sure how this info got overlooked before, but it was such a relief to find out! This "saves" us several hundred dollars. Praise the Lord!
What blessings have you experienced lately?

Oh so many! My truck broke, MJ was able with the neighbors help to get it running just for the cost of parts. Still $200 or so and it needs probably $3 to $400 more in parts (once 1 thing goes others follow) but it runs and gets us where we need to go!
I was needing to make an arrangement on my house taxes, and I finally got apporval from the county at a rate I can afford.
Then Thursday my pay check was short and I chave auto pays coming in and the shorted amount was just what they needed. Well after some hemming and hawing, the bookkeeper finally wrote me a check for the shorted amount and the bills went through last night with out a hitch.
That isn't even counting my job, my health and all the other things I am blessed with daily!
Rebekah, I am glad to hear about your shoes! I can hardly stand shoes any more! It is sneakers or sandals for me all year long (I tell folks I am Peppermint Patty)

Sometimes "mistakes" turn out to be blessings. I accidently made a double entry in my checkbook and found it. It was a $70 mistake, but it my favor!

I have another blessing to share! My car needed $900 worth of repairs. This is the car we just got this year after a tree ruined both of our vehicles. I was NOT happy about this but thankfully, the repairs needed were all covered by the warranty and we only had to pay $100. Whew!

I received a check in the mail yesterday refunding me for an overpayment on a medical bill from a couple of months ago. I was so grateful as it was surely a huge help!

Our toilet hasn't been working right for a few months. Every time we needed to flush, we had to turn the water on and then off again or it would continually run and leak. Dh changed out valves, the guts, you name it. Well, he finally found the issue (it was cracked!) and needed replaced. A friend of ours who does plumbing gave us another toilet and helped install it, and did not charge us anything. It's a big blessing and a relief!

We got some great news I wanted to share now that I found my way back here. My husband 5 years ago under went surgeory . He had a mass in his bowel area. They said it was cancerous, and removed it. He underwent chemo and took pills for 5 months. Long story short he went back to the doctors. They said he wont have to come back any more cause he is 100 percent cancer free. Every check up until now was always cancer free, but not it is official I guess!

Our blessing took place a few months ago and I think I mentioned it on PH when it happened but I’ll mention it again. We have been living on dh’s family property for 20 yrs. His extended family knew and didn’t mind. Until we moved onto it no one had lived on it in over 50 yrs. Suddenly about 3 yrs ago one of his aunts & uncles (in their 80’s) decided to sell the property! They couldn’t sell it without going to court, etc because it was still in dh’s great-great grandparents name. We had to go to court three times to fight his aunts & uncles. Finally the judge said we could offer dh’s family an offer of $$$ which is much less than the going price for 12.4 acres in our county and he insisted that the family accept it. We’ll be paying this loan until we’re 95 but we can continue enjoying the land we worked so hard making improvements on and enjoy the lifestyle we love.
