I'm a sorta newbie! I've been around off and on for a lot of years, originally as Modern Lydia. It is so good to be back

I’m still here. Still have the farm with goats, horses, chickens, geese, ducks (newest members), turkeys (also new), guineas, rabbits, birds, and of course dogs & cats. Lately I’ve been doing a lot of quilting. Two years ago I was diagnosed with heart failure & diabetes so dealing with that. Dh is building me the cabin I want so we can move out of this very old trailer. Everything is great on the Lazy T farm.

I was sure I'd responded to this... but it's not here, so 🤷🏻♀️!
I, also, cannot wait to see the cabin. Wish I could see it in person... but am thankful for the internet!
Things are so different than when I joined... must be 17 years ago! One child is working and in college; another is slated to graduate this year, and the third is in 10th grade. We've homeschooled all the way through (so far! I think we're going to make it!).
I am spednign mroe time now working (online). I'm not at full time at all. It's a balance to work enough to stay relevant and stil have what flexibility we need around our home. I'm working on some projects which might be income producing when the boys are all finished school, or just might be awesome hobbies.
One big change - I don't do ANYwhere near the home food preservation I used to. Since we left Texas in 2014, I have either been limited in one way or another. We keep a well stocked pantry, and we store water on site. But I haven't canned in a very long time (more than 5 years), and I haven't dehydrated anything for the last couple of years, either.
In the meantime, I'm still crocheting and knitting.

I'm here, I was gone for several years, my work schedule didn't allow me much time for internet. I am now retired and living in Wyoming, my husband wanted to come home when he retired. I mainly work on my hobbies, crochet, photography, and I am finally learning to sew.

I'm new here! I just found this forum yesterday evening and I'm so happy to be here. Married with one child. Currently a full-time homemaker after leaving my job of the last ten years. It's been an experience learning to create new routines and finding the right flow for our home. However, I am so glad to be home and more available to my family while I do some healing. Looking forward to learning from you all.
