Insurance denied my dad's transfer to the SNF, so today we need to decide what we are doing with him. Personally, I think that he will be fine at home, he will just need my sister and I to stop by a couple of times a day. In a bit I will head to the hospital.
When I get home from the hospital, besides working, I need to get the towels done and clean the bathrooms. DH has an appointment tonight, so I'll have that time to get stuff done. We'll have a late dinner and then I will finish assembling this blanket and work on the border.

Michelle, would his insurance cover a sitter to come to his house to help him. I’ve done home health aide work (help them bathe, vital signs, and light housework). But a sitter mostly just sits with the patient and helps them maneuver around and is there in case they need help with something. I know a few people who have sat with patients all night in case they need to get up to the bathroom or has health issues during the night.
I’m making the binding for Helen’s quilt today and start stitching it on. I need to go through the stuff under my table by the sofa and get rid of a lot of it and what I keep I need to put elsewhere. It’s an eyesore there. I’m going to fix up a box of pantry stuff to donate to a food pantry. I have stuff that has been given to me that I can’t eat or just don’t care for. I did this awhile back but need to do again.

Michelle, that's frustrating. My BIL did the kind of work that Gina is describing. In fact, IIRC, he would work overnight shifts just to make sure someone was available in case the client needed help during the night.
Today, my teaching is sparse and spread out (only 2-1/2 hours total over 11 hours). So... I'd like to get the final piece of my portfolio prepared. I have to record myself teaching. DS2 is a willing guinea pig 🙂🐹. The final submission can only be 10 minutes long, but the previous times I've done this, it has taken an hour or more (because technology). Anyway, he has no live classes today, so this may be THE day to get that sorted.
No tkd tonight. We're having pressured cooker chicken tonight.
Since I will probably have plenty of time, I'm thinking about baking DS1's birthday cake (his birthday is Friday) and freezing it. I can always thaw it to frost on Friday.

Not much planned for today. Did my basic morning routine, and will be leaving for Bible study soon and a doctor's appointment in the afternoon. In between time, I plan more work in the back room and some ironing.
