Merrileem, I'm glad you're feeling better. I hope you are, too, Gina.
I think today will be a good day.
I am still catching up on computer work. I've just hit this bump with my classes where I have a lot to do. Once it's done, it will serve me well for a long time, but in the mean time... sheesh. I got up this morning, and went bed-coffee-computer. I'm going to take a break now, shower, walk and feed the dogs, pick up my breakfast, and come back here.
Happily, three of my classes today either cancelled or rescheduled, so I should have a block of time this morning.
I also did a little bit of picking up. I have someone coming to the house. DS1 took over the dining room when he began college last semester. He's given it up quite a bit... but his stuff keeps accumulating there. With his clinical work, he always has forms he needs supervising (working) staff to sign off on. While it would be nice if he did all his work in his room (at the nice desk we bought him!) Since he is usually eating when he is working on school, I actually appreciate that he's NOT eating in his room. But I cleared his stuff this morning.
I need to look over the boys' bathroom today. I cleaned it (to my standards, not theirs) last week. But, since I have someone coming over, I want to check again. That bath also serves as the guest bathroom... so I want it to be in good shape.
I don't know about tonight. LAST night, we found out the youth dinner will be provided for the youth tonight. There is a special prayer service prior to the Ash Wednesday service. The youth director explained last night that there is concern the youth will be too rowdy (I think that's a fair assessment). So the staff came up with the idea to feed them while adults have the prayer service. The youth will attend the Ash Wednesday service with everyone, and then the prayer service will be repeated for the youth. Right now, I'm lobbying with DH for us to drop off the boys, go find some dinner ourselves, then join the youth for their prayer service. Otherwise, it'll be after 8 before I can even think about dinner. If I'd known sooner, I would have planned a packed dinner. But DH is a bit too fussy for me to figure out something he'd be willing to eat packed at this point.
Have a good day, ladies.
