I am doing laundry today to get ready for our trip. With work winding down, I don't have much to do, so will probably spend most of my day crocheting. My dad is in the hospital so I need to head there at 5 tonight.

I’m sure your dad will be happy to see you. I had to go to the clinic early this morning for lab work. Tomorrow I see the dr to go over the results and discuss switching my fluid pills to another one. These aren’t working very well at all. Over the past two weeks I’ve gained 20 lbs! I’m doing some laundry right now. I need to make the lotion and detergent I didn’t make over the weekend, and I need to mop. I want to get out in the garden space and hoe but I’m sure dh will insist on doing that for me. If that’s the case I’ll sit out there and supervise.

Michelle, I'm sorry your dad is in the hospital. I'm sure you'll be an encouragement to him.
Today my main focus is sewing. I have several new orders from customers, none of which are typical or easy jobs, so they will take more time and effort than usual. Our road had another extended power outage this morning, due to a tree bringing down power lines. I need to "make hay while the sun shines" so to speak, before anything else disrupts my plans.

Well, update on me: I ended up not going to Oregon because two days before I planned to leave, I came down sick. Nothing too serious, just a heavy cold, but enough to keep me home AND out of the play as well. Very discouraging, but the good news is, my son was put in the hospital this morning and is getting care. I still plan to go, it is just on hold for now. Since I am sick, I am finally getting caught up on all the things that were on hold while I was doing the play and working. So far, the bed is made, quiet time done, two big loads of laundry done and folded and put away, brought the garbage can back in. I need to clean the bathroom, and I want to get a bit of baking done. A friend who didn't mind my germs took me to the meat market (I wore a mask) so I could stock up on a few things. I am trying not to overdo it since I am stuck at home anyway so no sense doing everything in one day.

Hi Ladies. Boy, so many things going on. Praying for all of you.
Today's been a bit quiet... partly because I just decided not to be in a tizzy. If things don't get done... life goes on.
I did run the robo-vac which was fine until I went to the bathroom and it got stuck. Crated the dogs while the perst ocntrol company was here. Cleaned off the kitchen table, repotted a plant and watered it well. Emptied and refilled the dishwasher. I tried to take a walk, but ended up running interference between a neighbor and the recycling pick up guys. The neighbor is older and was standing out there making a royal fuss because they won't pick up her recycling. Our city changed bins for a very good reason and she was trying to make them take it from the old bin. They were trying to be nice to her (she is elderly) but she was just push push pushing. I finally had to tell her it wasn't their fault. She admitted that was true and she knew that and she settled down. They ended up taking her recycling anyway, and I told her when she calls the city, she better not tell on them and get them in trouble. (It's a long story, but we all HAD to switch to new, larger, lidded recyling bins. They were distributed with no additional cost. I understand why this lady isn't using one, but she shouldn't fuss at those guys who are just doing their jobs. After they left, she and I talked about it and she decided that she's just going to put her recycling in the trash. I think that's best for her (and for the recycling truck guys!) and one little lady's cardboard won't ruin the planet. She didn't even understand what could be recycled and what couldn't... AND she kept telling me she made sure there was NO PLASTIC IN THERE but I could SEE plastic in the bin. So, yes, just putting everything in the trash might be the best for her. And she talked about how she needs to move... Anyway, that took up 3x the amount of time I set aside for my walk!
I taught a couple classes this morning in between everything else and have five more to go. Then dinner and tkd.
