I have a simple, uncomplicated day planned. I guess we'll see what actually happens 😉
I have a few classes, two zoom meetings, and a small project that is due today. That ought to only take up about 3-4 hours of the day.
I will take some time to empty the hutch in the dining room. It is easily the heaviest piece of furniture that we own. DH and the younger boys will be replacing the flooring in the dining room, two of the living room areas, and the hallway over the next week, and he said he wants to start in the dining room. I want to be "ahead" of getting things out of there.
And, after two more episodes of stitching and frogging... I finally finished that crochet project last night. When I FINALLY got it right... it only took a half hour. I think I could have made 7 or 8 in all the time I spent on it. I just had too many other things racing in my mind this week, but, whew, it's done.

Glad that the project is finally done. So far today I've had my quiet time, made the bed, had breakfast (no prep for tomorrow), worked out, got ready and cleaned my makeup brushes. We didn't walk this morning, instead we did a caffeine run. Never did do the hardwood floors yesterday, so I should probably do them today. I also need to do the grocery list, finish the towels (they are in the washer) and wash and hang my workout clothes. On the work front, not sure what today will bring other than more training

They caught the guy who stole the bike, and the police came and took Ryan down to the station last night to pick it up. Ryan decided not to press charges because the guy said he genuinely thought he was taking back his own bike that was stolen a few days ago. His story was a bit sketchy, but Ryan decided to let it go as the guy didn't deny he had taken it but readily admitted it. Hopefully that is the end of the matter. So far, bed made and quiet time done and nothing else yet as I slept in this morning after a late night with police matters. I plan to do some major work on my bedroom today, and I need to clean the kitchen stove and counters again after making onion rings last night; what a mess! Good recipe though; they came out beautifully crispy and not any of the onion slipping out of the breading that you sometimes get. I need to run over to Braum's to pick up broccoli for tonight's dinner.

Merrilee, I'm so glad Ryan got his bike back! Michelle, how do you like the new job?
Dd2 and her husband finally found a nice place to live and we've been spending the week helping them move.
It's raining today. This evening we will celebrate dh's dad's birthday. Other than that, I'm puttering about the house and catching up on different jobs that were put aside to help with the move.

Merrilee, I'm glad that Ryan got his bike back.
Mountainma, glad that you DD and SIL found a nice place to live.
I'm really liking my new job. I'm still training, so I have nothing like a full workload, but I think that it will be good.
