Relatively normal Saturday here. Grocery shopping this morning, then I need to do kitchen prep, scrub the kitchen and mop the kitchen and bathroom floors. I also need to strip and remake the bed and load the coffee and tea. Laundry will be the sheets, folding the laundry that has been drying in the basement and doing the ironing.
Late this afternoon, we'll head to my sister's to have dinner with my dad and to dye eggs with my nephew.

NOT normal here.
Normally, we'd either be shopping already or out the door (we go a bit later when DH and the boys work out). No one worked out this morning, and DH said he'd be ready to leave ten minutes ago, but here we are.
I will be making time today to deal with the boys' school records. The online class service we use (mainly) made a signifant change yesterday. It was kinda sneaky. The service they changed isn't one we use, but... the only notification was an announcement by the company in a parent support group. Long story short, people who use this function (that has been removed) will have to create a new subscription (i.e., pay extra) to use it. People are up in arms. DS3 finished his work for the year yesterday. I want to get all of his records transferred to our cover school's transcript. DS2 is so, so, so close to finishing. Even though we don't use the service that was removed, this is the kind of dumb business move that can backfire badly on a company. People are angry, and I don't blame them. I was really hoping we could continue to rely on this as a strong resource - we only have two years of homeschooling left! I guess we'll see what happens. But in the meantime, I need to pull those records ASAP.
There is tkd (class and extended practice) today. I think I will stay home to deal with homeschool record keeping.
Church tonight. I am going to strongly urge that pizza making take place tomorrow. That may not be a traditional Easter dinner, but pizza is important to 80% of the household and since we need to be at church all evening, it's a bad plan for today.

I am cooking all day. Bed is made, quiet time done, the first two dozen or so cookies done, rabbits and chicks waiting to be frosted. I will also be baking a peach cobbler, I have the chicken thawing in the fridge for tomorrow's dinner. Ryan hates ham, sadly. Ran over to Braum's for lemons. Ryan is working a split shift today, so I will be serving leftovers for today's meal.
