My heart was glad to read about those of you who had wonderful sevices yesterday. We did, too... but it was too much. Too many things. DH and I were up at 4, came home quickly at one point to change clothes (it was cold for the sunrise service) and walk and feed the dogs. Then were were not back home for hours. The church was so crowded we had overflow into the hallways and the fellowship hall for the second service of the day (the boys were helping some of the ladies preparing food). We couldn't fit into the third service, but by then, I was kind of worn out and just sat in the fellowship hall and crocheted. I think that next year, I'm going to limit what I am helping with (including chauffeurring). Either that, or the boys will drive themselves to their activities.
Gina, I hope you're feeling better.
Today, aside from my normal classes (mostly back to a regular schedule), I will be taking DS2 to another bank to get a checking account set up for him.
I will also be keeping a close eye on our homeschool online class provider. The business owner threatened to pull the entire service. It's ridiculous. DS3 is done for the year, but DS2 has three final exams to take to graduate. Multiple seniors have had their records for the entire year expunged (yes). It's a mess. Right now, my goal is to get my boys out of that system, but I want DS2 to finish those exams if possible. Frankly, I doubt that they will have a big impact on his grade, but it's important to him. He's been motivated and studying, and I don't want him to miss out on that if possible.
TKD tonight. I may stay home and work on the boys' transcripts.
Have a great day.
