Hello, ladies! Happy Friday.
My day:
Yesterday, DS2 completed his final (last) final exam for high school. I need to upload that credit (plus science credit, I think) to his transcript... and then he's DONE... all except for walking in the ceremony that our cover school provides (next month). We still have some "work" to do. š Last week, I took him to open a checking account. He still hasn't been able to log into it. He also stopped in the middle of a job application because he needed a resume. He put of working on that until he completed his school work. Well... now it's time!
I'm grateful he finished with no complications. The big mess with our curriculum provider has morphed. There was a lot of parent outcry after changes they made a couple weeks ago. The company is now in the process - I guess - of putting things back. It's made for some glitchiness in the system. I am going to be relieved to pause our use of the curriculum and let the dust settle there.
The tkd class DH wants to attend is early (for us). I was targeting dinner to be finished at 4:30, but I think I will aim for a little earlier so they can start eating at 4:30. DS3 can keep an eye on it for me. Alternately.... we went out to dinner last night for DH's birthday (it's today, but he wanted to go to tkd...). We brought home SO MANY LEFTOVERS. I would expect people will get into them for lunch, but if DH would prefer to have those for dinner, that works too (as long as I know BEFORE I put a chicken in the oven!).
There are some household chores that have been neglected this week, but they can wait. (If they couldn't, those would have gotten done and others neglected). Have a great day, ladies.
My day:
- Check email and send at least one important message (which means I'll spend time reviewing that more closely than normal)
- Zoom meeting
- 5 lessons between lunch and dinner (scattered)
- Coordinate dinner prep between/around lessons
- tkd class (for DH and the boys)
- Post-class tkd practice for the boys
- (somewhere in here) upload DS2's LAST GRADES to his transcript!
