Nothing much planned today beyond cleaning the kitchen and going downtown for a bit of wandering around the new shop that contains a candy store (they have nice sugar free options!) a bulk food store and various other small businesses under one roof. I want to explore in there a bit today and get in some exercise while I am at it. Hope everyone has a restful weekend!

Merrilee, that sounds like a lot of fun!
Today is the last of the spring cleaning. We just finished the inside of the windows and after lunch we will deep clean the basement. I also need to do the kitchen prep for the week, load coffee and tea, make bagels, give the kitchen a good cleaning and mop the kitchen and bath.
The duvet cover is in the dryer and after it is done I want to give the actual duvet a good fluff. Then I need to remake the bed.

I’m not doing much today. I called the clinic this morning but they aren’t open on Saturday mornings anymore. The doctor on call said they can’t order antibiotics over the phone. About a month ago I was put on Amoxicillin for the abscess under my arm and I didn’t take them all so I took one this morning. Monday I’ll go to my doctor and have to fess up that I didn’t take them all for the abscess but she’ll be glad I had them for now. I want to get in the garden to plant the cantaloupe seeds but it may be too wet out there. We got a lot of rain night before last and as of yesterday some of my plants were under water. I think I’ll get back to crocheting hats for the orphanage. I’ll declutter my dresser top and straighten up rest of the bedroom.

Good morning! The bagels yesterday turned out pretty good. My shaping could use work, but they tasted good. The basement took way longer than I anticipated (we had a lot of junk to go through), and I didn't get all of my chores done. So I'll need to do them today.
Today's plan is church this morning, and then home for lunch, prepping breakfast for the week, loading coffee and tea (I at least thought to grab enough for this morning), clean the kitchen and mop the kitchen and bathroom. Sounds like a lot written out, but shouldn't take that long. Later this afternoon, we'll go to my nephew's choir concert.

Just a simple (I guess) weekend here. Yesterday was all about shopping: Regular groceries (not too much, thank goodness, at the prices). Then Costco (also a comparatively small trip). We also hit Home Depot for some new door locks. We are lucky to be in a little neighborhood many folks don't know about. But someone stole rechargeable batteries from a neighbor, so we need to be more careful. We've been relying on the garage doors because the locks on the regular doors are so "fiddly" and EACH door (front, side, back) all had different locks. Once these are installed, everyone will be have to have a key to a regular door, not just a code for the garage door.
Today will be Sunday School, worship, home, then back to drop the boys for youth group.
This afternoon, there are lot of things on DH's agenda: taking DS3 to practice driving, someone should install the locks we got, and he (DH) says he has work he needs to do, too. I have an online (one-time) class that I signed up for. I will probably watch that while undoing part of my crochet project. I began to stitch the cushion border parts together, but realized yesterday morning I had it inside out. I will need to be able to take my time to flip it around before continuing stitching. Bright afternoon sunlight will help, so it might be perfect to keep my hands busy during that class. I also bought some bulk chicken at Costco yesterday that I want to repackage, but that won't take long at all.
I don't have a plan for dinner yet. It will be DS1, DH and I. I usually make something that I don't have enough for all five of us, so I'll check the freezer and check odds and ends pieces of meat.

Today I watched church online and re-packaged some meat to freeze for later. I need to make some more iced tea and menu plan for the week.
We found out another gal at church is expecting. It's so funny because we now have FOUR ladies all expecting this summer and they are all having boys! I've got one baby quilt top done that just needs quilted. I need to get busy on the other gifts!
