In other words, busy Grocery shopping at WM and our local supermarket this morning. Home to get that put away and change and then I have my DAR meeting. Once that's done it is home to change again and go to a birthday party for my great-uncle. If there is time in between things, I'll work on cleaning, laundry and kitchen prep. Otherwise, it will wait until after church tomorrow.

Bed is made, quiet time done, dishes put away. The plan for today is to finally get my garden planted. I have a friend of Ryan's who is also out of work, so I am going to pay him to come and help us get this done. I am simply not up to doing this kind of work on my own anymore; oh, the joys of old age.

I know what you mean Merrileem. I’m not even old but having health issues that’s interfering with normal activities. I picked up Zofran from the pharmacy. I have a mild case of a stomach bug but it’s enough to interfere with my blood sugar and my heart rate. Animals all got fed. I’m resting now but after while I’ll wash dishes and put away last night’s gathering of eggs. I need to pick up discarded produce this evening. Hopefully we’re done getting rain. Seems every time I go outside the sky opens up.

Seems like that's my Saturday, too.
We got up and trotted off to church. This month our church is 50 years old. As one of the observances, we packed 50,000 meals for Rise Against Hunger. DH, all three boys and I worked in the first shift of people packing. We got our half (25,000 meals) packed in about 90 minutes... but we kept going for another half hour. I will be curious to find out tomorrow how many meals ended up being packed in total.
Then we came home for a quick lunch. Next, off to Costco and then a quick stop at Trader Joe's. After we got home and everything was stowed, I sat down and put my feet up for about a half hour. My left ankle/lower leg were just killing me. I think standing in one spot this morning for two hours followed up walking around on that hard floor at Costco were too much (even with good shoes).
I just hopped on the computer to check emails, and it's nearly dinner time already.
