Good morning. This Monday felt like it came early. We stayed pretty busy this weekend. Okay, today: - shower, dress. etc.
- walk/fed dogs
- teach one class
- go to drop off point to leave an Amazon return
- go to a grocery store to pick up the things for DS3's cooking class that I forgot while grocery shopping this weekend (oops). There aren't too many things, but they are things I don't keep in the house.
- Teach 6 more lessons over the course of the afternoon.
- menu plan (because I haven't yet for this week)
- Think about tomorrow evening's dinner. DS2's graduation ceremony is tomorrow. I've taken most of the afternoon off. I want to do some scouting for restaurants. When DS1 graduated, we didn't eat until after and I think the same thing will end up happening this time. But there were so few restaurants. I don't want to be eating anywhere just because we're so hungry.
It's getting warm here. Most days are in the high 80's - we haven't hit 90 yet, but we're going to soon.
Have a good start to your week, ladies.

Congratulations to DS2!
So far: * quiet time done * breakfast done and prepped for tomorrow * walked * worked out * got myself ready * 1 load of laundry washed and hung * 2nd load just finished so I'll go and hang it
Still to do: * 1 load of laundry that won't get done until after DH mows the lawn tonight * ironing that I didn't get to this weekend.

Had a huge thunderstorm last night, with much blessed rain. My garden is well watered! I got word this morning that my dear Aussie friend who was a former member here years ago Suzan has passed away. Eight years younger than me. She poured her life out caring for her mother, and now SHE is the one who died. I am so grateful to Ryan for insisting my dh be put in a facility when he did. I am ready to do my weekly round of laundry and bathroom cleaning, after spending two hours crying my eyes out this morning. Suzan was very dear to me.

Sandra, congrats to your son on graduating!
Merrilee, I'm so sorry to hear of Suzan's passing. Hugs to you.
I've been sewing like crazy to prepare for craft shows and my back is paying for it. I need to call my chiropractor for another appointment but my insurance has run out of visits until July, so it will have to be paid for out-of-pocket. Ugh.

Sandra, it’d hard to imagine you have another graduate. Congratulations! Merrileem, I vaguely remember Suzan. I’m so sorry! I’ve had a stomach bug for the past four days or so. Worse in the mornings it seems. Taking Zofran for the nausea and since it’s a little batter in the afternoons I was able to have lunch out with dh and ds yesterday after church. Ds visited our church’s second service and that made my day. I’m really tired today. Going to deliver soap and eggs to our friends and pick up the day old bread. We share the bread with friends and the animals eat the wheat bread as a treat.
