Good morning! It's all of 6:15 AM and so far...
DH, DS2 & I got up to discover the glass in the front of the oven door shattered. It happened after we went to bed. DS3 left an explanation and also explained that he tried to clean up but ended up giving up and going to bed. This was clearly a freak accident. (Honestly, if the range was new, I'd be reaching out to the company.) But we've already ordered a replacement door, so there's that. I need to remind DS he won't be able to take his cooking class today. He can watch, but the oven is simply not useable (it's a baking day for that class).
I was moving empty planters from the front porch to the back porch when I saw the porch light flicker. It's on a sensor and turns off in direct sunlight, so I didn't think too much... until I heard three distant explosions. The power flickered back on, then off. Well! I texted my first student (7 AM) and told them I'd keep them updated. After about 20 minutes, the power came back on and has been holding steady. Yay!
I guess the rest of the day will seem downhill!
I need to:
Have a lovely day, ladies.

I need to:
- feed & walk the dogs
- teach my first class
- shower and change
- tidy the dining room. DS1 perfers to study there. It's all open to the room where the piano is. He will move without complaint, but I prefer to have the obvious stuff out of sight (books, binders, etc). Or at least, neatly stacked.
- teach that lesson to a new student
- have lunch
- teach another lesson
- block of time to plan/prep dinner
- teach four more lessons over two hours
- Have dinner and head out to TKD
Have a lovely day, ladies.
