Dh is coming in around noon from his run to Oklahoma. I’m staying home from church. A church member offered to come get me but we live 25 minutes from church in the opposite direction from everyone else. Plus I want to rest as much as possible before seeing the cardiologist on Tuesday. I made sure there was a greeter and an usher for both services. Animals are all fed. The goat I was giving penicillin injections to had passed away during the night. She had been walking around but had been refusing to eat for the past few days. I couldn’t force the food down her. Helps knowing I did everything I could for her. I need to wash a few dishes and clean the stove. When dh gets home he’ll (hopefully) fix the car. If he can fix it in a timely manner then we’ll go out to eat for our anniversary (19 years).

Gina, Happy Anniversary!
Sorry about the goat.
Its a bit of a weird day here. We arrived at church in time for the service... I commented on how different the parking lot looks 5 minutes before the service as opposed to 15 minutes before... When he has a role in the service, DH likes to get there a bit early.
We barely walke din before the service starts and the rector took DH aside... guess who was supposed to lead prayers this morning! He did fine, but I know he would have preferred to be there earlier. (We checked; it was on his calendar. He just missed it.)
DS2 was going to go to an amusement park with his friends this afternoon... but they all backed out... this morning. I know he's bummed. The park is over state lines and I think he and all his pals were relying on the person who offered to drive. DH and I are not yet inclined to allow DS to drive out of state (in our vehicle). Hopefully, this will just motivate him more to save up and get his own car... and that time will allow him to build up more experience driving, too.
There's an old time music jam this afternoon. I suspect that DS2 will come along with me to that now.
Have a good day.

Gina, I'm sorry about the goat, but you did the best you could.
Dd2 and her dh came and got dd1 to spend the day with her at their place. This gives dh and I a little free time together to rest and relax before he has to go to choir practice and church service tonight.
I'm making salads and planning the weekly menu this afternoon.
