Nothing fancy here. Just grocery shopping (regular grocery store), grocery shopping (Trader Joe's), and more grocery shopping (time for the monthly Costco run). I really want to get all this done as quick as possible this morning. I have a time set for a Zoom with friends this afternoon. I don't want to miss that. If DH doesn't want to plow through in the morning, I am going to suggest that we leave after my zoom and bring Costco pizzas home for dinner. That is usually appealing. There is no question - for the price, they make the best pizza around here.

Dh got in early this morning after making deliveries all night so I fed the animals while he slept. Right now I’m shelling peas. This afternoon I’m taking a watermelon and okra to a couple we’re good friends with. Around noon I’ll pick up the day old bread. Dh has to leave back out around noon and won’t be home until Monday so this evening I’ll feed the animals again.

Yet another storm last evening, another lollapalooza; more like a hurricane than the storms we usually get. Very odd for our neck of the woods. But this morning dawned bright, sunny and cool for a change. I know it won't last, but happy to get it! I stripped my bed and did laundry two days early because I spilled coffee on my bed sheets. So bed is made, quiet time done, dishes washed and dried and put away, walked to the meat market to get exercise and get bacon and cheese. Now to sweep and mop the floors and wash the window sills of grit and dirt from the storms.
