Take it away as in "run with it," not "get this away from me!" Fairly straight forward day lined up. Not in order: - The floors need desperately to be swept
- I need to look over the boys' bathroom, probably wipe it down before it gets too bad
- make dinner
- attend five lessons. I only need to teach four of them. The student at the fifth will be absent - her mom let me know ahead of time. But if I cancel that this point, the system gets wonky. It's just easier to log in and do something while the system thinks I'm attending
- church book group - which I completely spaced on last week.
- brainstorm for a group I've started volunteering for.
That's it.
The brainstorming will be interesting. This organization has a bunch of willing volunteers in Alabama, but, as I learned when I contacted them to volunteer, no state coordinator. It sounds largely administrative, and I told them I'd give it a try. I think this "job" would be as small or as big as I put into it. Right now, they're not doing anything in Alabama because they had no coordinator. Kind of interesting. Anyway, rather that jump in with lots of random actions, I want to make a list to work through.
I haven't decided what we'll have for dinner. Plenty of time to cook tonight. I will review the freezer mid day to decide.
Have a lovely day.

Good morning!
So far this morning quiet time is done, breakfast is eaten and prepped for tomorrow, I've also worked out and gotten myself ready. We didnt' walk this morning, instead we scrubbed the garage floor. Tomorrow we will seal it.
Should be another quiet day here today. Bible Institute classes started last night, I don't attend them live, I watch the recording during the week. I want to watch the first half of the first class today.
Tonight while DH mows the lawn, I'll clean the bathrooms and then we need to run to Home Depot for sealer.

Well, when it rains it pours here. Our AC went out yesterday. Hottest week on record, and no AC. I called a guy and he is supposed to be here soon, but who knows what the cost will be? Ugh. I am doing nothing but sit and rest. I am horribly sick from the heat. Well, it is the motor. He has ordered one, but won't likely come in/be installed til tomorrow evening, so meantime, I roast. Debating calling into work and seeing if anyone can come get me, or going across the street to Braum's to eat lunch and stay til they throw me out.

Merrilee, can you get to the library? I had a friend who'd worked as a librarian for years in Florida, and she told me that folks (especially older folks) would come spend full days there because of the a/c>
I'm so sorry you're dealing with this. Praying it'll be fixed quickly.

Merrileem, I know the feeling. With our old house the a/c doesn’t work very well. It’s the electrical and poor insulation. Normally it doesn’t have too much problem staying cool but with this extreme heat it doesn’t cool down well so I also have fans going.
Today I still wasn’t feeling up to par. No appetite and heart rate jumping up for no reason. Guess it’s some virus. My heart rate and oxygen levels act up if I have a virus. I fed the animals this morning and picked up the discarded produce. Also working on the quilt. Didn’t eat breakfast so when I went to Walmart I stopped in Pizza Hut for their buffet. Ate three small slices and that’s all I could handle. I’ll have a sandwich for dinner.
