I'm determined to have all my Christmas gifts purchased before Halloween. It makes life so much easier when I don't have to navigate the crowds, etc. between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Every paycheck, I've been buying a little here and there. We don't spend a lot for gifts, but stretching it out helps the expense. So far, the girls gifts are taken care of, and most of dh's and our son-in-law. I still have to get a few little stocking stuffers for the guys, but since they prefer snacks for that, it can wait a little longer.
With so many alterations and craft fairs coming up, it's kind of a relief to get the shopping done early. I do need to figure out what we'll eat for Christmas dinner and plan accordingly with grocery sales and stuff.
I'm really trying to do better with planning, not just for Christmas, but for other things as well. What are you planning for? Have you started thinking about the holidays yet, or is it too early for you?

I haven’t thought much about Christmas. Too much other stuff been on my mind. Grandkids gifts I usually get off Amazon or Walmart and have it delivered or parents pick it up at their local Walmart. They have a Walmart a mile from their house and certain items my DIL has to pick up but she doesn’t mind at all. I buy for not only our two grandkids but for their two half-siblings. Our two other grandkids are also out of state. They’ll get gift cards. Great grandkids just moved to Iowa and I’ll crochet them hats (8 yrs and younger). If I have to start getting chemo I can crochet during the treatments. My mom and sister would like crocheted hats or dish cloths and towels. So it’s just dh I have to think of.

I've started thinking about it a little bit. We do a lot of gift cards. We've done that in the past and gift cards were always well received.

Dd1 and I are doing shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. It's so much fun!
I've started wrapping gifts and am getting into the Christmas spirit already. I need to figure out what we're eating for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and where. Part of that depends on dh's dad and how he's feeling.
I got the snacks for stocking stuffers and hid them in a bag in the back pantry where dh never looks. Well, somehow he went snooping for something, found the bag of goodies and ate almost everything, thinking it had been forgotten back there. UGH! It was all I could do to keep a straight face and not clobber him! So now I have to get more stocking stuffers for him and the kids, plus figure out a different hiding place.

Oh that stinks about your DH finding the snacks.
