Good morning ladies,
I am sorry I didn't post yesterday, I was working. Sometimes I have to lol. Anyway, today is Wednesday and it is sunny and beautiful here in Germany. As I was looking for an appropriate adjective for today, the thought hit my mind, how awesome and beautiful God's creation is. Just look at the greenery that is outside. All different shades of green on a small space and yet they do not clash. Actually I have not seen one color in nature that would clash with another. Have you? The songs of the birds, although from many different species make beautiful music together. Everything is in perfect harmony. God is just so awesome, don't you think? Let's make sure that we appreciate what he has given us and don't take it for granted. I am not much of a recycler, like the rest of the Germans, but I do recycle paper, plastic and glass, bottles and cans (we have a deposit on those and if you recycle, i.e. bring them back you get money back). Plastic I recycle within reason, because I once saw a documentary about plastic recycling that they are able to only use a certain amount of plastic for recycling. Here in Augsburg, we do not have landfills (I think they are forbidden in Germany) we burn our stuff in special facilities, which probably filters the burnt ash out of the smoke as well so it seems that that is the cleanest way to deposit plastic that can't be recycled. Do you all recycle?
Well, today I think I will take it easy. Piddle around a little and crochet on my blanket, so it is done in the winter. I have decided to make stuff for me now, because honestly, I am a bit frustrated. I make stuff for others and then I never see it used. So forget it. Until I retire and am able to sell what I made (I have to register a business if I want to sell, because of tax issues) I have purposed to make stuff for me. I really like the farmhouse style which I am going to mix with rustic elements for my home.... I think that should work really nice. I am still "nesting" for myself, but I have time to do so.
Anyway, here is your verse for the day: 1. Chr. 16:9-10 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works. 10 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
Have an awesome day ladies. Love you all.
