Ever since I started seeing my cardiologist almost three years she was seeing me once a year. When I was at my checkup last summer the receptionist made my next appointment. When I got home I looked at the appointment card and saw it’s for this month and it said six month checkup. I had had an echocardiogram before seeing her last time and learned I have an additional leaky valve so maybe that’s why. I’m going to ask her why I’m now seeing her more often. Just four years ago I was just seeing my primary once a year. Now I see her twice a year because of the onset of diabetes, the cardiologist twice a year, and now an oncologist twice a year. I’d love to go back in time.

((Gina)) I know it's hard. I was just thinking yesterday about you, and how impressed I am at just how much you keep up with in spite of all your health issues over the past couple of years. I bet that being so active has got to be good for you.
And, they are being proactive in keeping an eye on you.
Hope today's appoitment goes well.

Thank you Sandra. I do think being active is helping. I do rest often but moving around feeding the livestock helps. Actually the appointment is on the 22nd. I mentioned to my primary doctor that all me regular doctors (mentioned in my post) are all women. She told me they are taking over the medical profession. Lol

I, too, am amazed at how active you are in spite of everything! It's a good thing the doctors are keeping a closer eye on you.
