When I got up this morning the winds were pretty bad. They have calmed down now, but we're under a wind advisory at least through 1am tomorrow. Thankfully, other than a quick run to the grocery store, I will spend the day indoors. On the agenda are: * Meal prep for the week * scrub the kitchen * mop the kitchen and bathroom * fold and put away the laundry that has been drying * iron * help DH with setting up the new security system
Other than that, I want to spend my day either doing cross stitch or knitting - or a little of both. I may also make a loaf of bread.
And as I'm typing this, the rain is picking up

Michelle, we had those winds the other day and some yesterday morning. I had to go out in it to feed all the animals. Not fun. It’s 35 right now but sunny and no wind so it doesn’t feel bad at all. After feeding these critters I need to run to town to pick up some refills at the pharmacy, stop by the bank ATM (no ATM fees there) to get money to pay our hay man for round bales, then stop by the grocery store to see what’s in the marked down sections. I’m going to find the online pattern for crocheted hand mittens. I saw it one time. I’ll Google it and sure it’ll turn up. Rest of the day will be spent with dh.

No rain here, it is too cold. 5 degrees this morning, and worse to come. Bed is made, quiet time done, braved the cold to get my package of water filters for my Brita out of the mailbox. Just finished making a batch of paneer from milk that would have gone south quite soon, and I will use the whey when I make spaghetti tomorrow. I am getting ready to boil potatoes to make samosas today as well. Using everything I have to make meals til the cold lifts enough to get out again! Usually this would be mopping day, but I think sweeping will be sufficient.

Good morning ladies.
Ironically, it's BEAUTIFUL looking day here... but it was 28 when I walked the dogs this morning. Stores have the heat cranked up, so my hoodie - which was not enough outside - was too much inside.
DH & I already hit Publix and Trader Joe's, and the stuff is put away. During that trip, it came out that DH wants to go to Costco this weekend. I had been thinking next weekend... but if we are going to do it, it has to be today (can't be tomorrow).
So in a few minutes, we'll leave for tkd... because DH wants to get lunch after. Then we'll go to Costco. I am about to take leftover-made cookies out of the over (made from old bananas and instant oatmeal the kids wanted on our trip and haven't touched since we came home). While they were baking, I printed out all the tax prep docs our accountant sent. I printed them yesterday but can't find them anywhere. Anyway, I can review them during tkd.
Have a great one ladies. Stay warm and safe!

We've been in a cold snap the last couple of days, woke up to -31 with a windchill of -45 this morning. Made some dinner rolls, got laundry washed, dried, and put away. Lounged for the rest of the day outside of cooking dinner.
