Good morning!
So far today I've had my quiet time, made the bed, had breakfast, took a walk outside (it was a balmy 20 degrees out), worked out and got myself ready.
On the work front today, I have a number of meetings and then it's more of a slow and steady day.
Tonight we are meeting a friend for dinner at a Mexican restaurant - hence the title of today's post.
On the home front, I want to get the hardwood floors swept and the vacuuming done. We may start on the grocery list.

Good morning! I'm feeling much better today. The temperature is supposed to get above freezing and I'm going to grab the opportunity to get out and run some errands before more bad weather and snow moves in tonight.
Gina, how are you feeling today? I hope the horse didn't hurt you.

This morning was supposed to be "easy." Good thing! DS3 has a school assignment where he has to make three videos and upload them. He made them all yesterday... only to discover the camera in the Chromebook didn't work. What a time we had this morning figuring out how to prop up my phone. It's all sorted now.
Then the dogs were fussing terribly. I ended up washing their bedding because I couldn't think of anything else. They must be freezing... we have hard wood floors and their beds and blankets are in the wash.
Bible study this afternoon, then three lessons. I'm trying to enjoy my Thursdays. Next month, they are shifting back to what Thursdays were like the last couple of years - back to back busy. It's all coming out of my Tuesday afternoons which will work out. It's just an adjustment.
Last night's chili was awful. So bland and soupy. This morning, I have converted it to cabbage soup. Hopefully, it will have some more flavor.

I* am way behind today! I took off early with a friend this morning because the meat market was having an amazing sale on their excellent ground beef, so I bought ten pounds. My bed is made, quiet time done, dishes washed and put away, a load of laundry done and folded. About to take off and go to the bank, then hopefully get some vacuuming and dusting done in the living room.

I’m feeling fine. No injury from the horse encounter. I got the animals all fed. Been above freezing since almost noon yesterday so no ice to break. I’ve taken eggs to town. When I get back home I’m going to turn the water back on and listen/look for leaks under the house. Not another freeze expected until tomorrow night. I need to wash some dishes and mop the floors so hopefully there’s no busted pipes. I’m crocheting dh a ski type mask so will work on that today. Tonight I’ll pick up the discarded produce.
