Good morning.
Quiet here now. DS1 woke up Saturday with total laryngitis and at bedtime last night, was better but NOT good. So he's off work today.
I have my first lesson (6 AM) in 15 minutes and my last one today ends at 5:25. I have them spread throughotu the day. Shouldn't be too bad.
I'm hoping pest control comes today. They didn't last week. It's so stinkin' cold I do not expect a bug problem (the pest control is to prevent them from coming in from outside), but it's awkward waiting. Someone over 18 has to meet them. Of course, now that I think of it, DS1 is off today.
When I'm not doingng the basics today (dishes, etc), I'm just going to chip away at the Motivated Moms' list.
DS3 is making cookies in today's cooking class, so I'll be responsible for dinner. I htink it's going to be pasta and meatballs. I may ask him to boil the pasta because it takes forever for our stove to boil water. I think we've found a good (truly good) gluten free pasta, so I'm hoping DH really enjoys the meal.
They have tkd tonight, but I plan to stay home since i know I'll be going with them on Friday (they are testing) and it will be a late evenining for us.

It’s been pouring rain since 2:30am….and at 4:30 remembered that we didn’t move the car up front. Dh had left for work by then so I had to wait til daylight so I could see better. Just got back from getting it across the pasture and flooded gully, praying the entire way. It’s supposed to continue raining all day, actually all week. I need to pick up the day old bread and deliver eggs (both in town). Hopefully it lets up enough to get the car loaded. Then take the bread to the apartment complex to hand out. At some point I need to feed the animals but waiting for a break in the rain. Fortunately they got fed late yesterday evening so they can wait awhile.

Stay safe, Gina. Sandra, I hope that the pest control people come at a time that doesn't interfere with your lessons.
Just had a video visit with my GI doc. He's happy with my liver function numbers, and I'm still in remission, so we're just going to keep on the same protocol. He's also very happy with my white count. According to him, I am perfectly immune suppressed.
Work today. It's going to be a busy week, but that's okay, it's a fun busy. On the home front, I need to fold the towels that just finished drying, and not much else. This evening I'll probably go with DH to the car wash to squirt down the cars (still too cold to do them at home).

Gina, I have such mixed feelings about rain right now. (Of course, RIGHT now, it would just turn to ice). But in general - on one hand, we've been in a serious drought for a while. We've basically lost all of the grass in our backyard. However, when we get rain - especially a lot - trees start falling which means power outages. We've been very fortunate during these cold temps not to have lost it, but when the rains come...
Michelle, I'd forgotten about needing to wash the cars up north in the winter.

We got rain on frozen ground, so our streets are a big sheet of ice. More of the same coming tonight, so I made the decision to cancel Elevate class tonight. So far, bed is stripped and made, three loads of laundry done, a couple of meals prepped and/or marinating in the fridge. Still have the bathroom to clean. I also did a workout this morning.
