The purpose behind this thread is to promote craftiness. The item can be a gift, useful or something for yourself. Thread, paper, fabric, what ever.

In January I made 2 sets of curtains. This month my plan is to begin knitting dish rags and make at least 1 apron and my machine cover for Rosie.

I need to get the current lap-ghan finished and then start working on a baby blanket. I'll also be working on my counted cross stitch. It's a bigger picture, so will take a great deal of time.

I have a baby blanket I need to finish crocheting, and finish my current painting. I have also started learning calligraphy.

I’ve started crocheting small red hearts. They’re about 1 1/2” tall and is only two rounds so takes less than 10 minutes. A friend crochets hats and wanted hearts but didn’t know how to make one.

I am not sure what's gotten into me, but I've been on an afghan kick. I made one at the end of January, and am about 1/3 of the way through my second one for this month. The timing is great, because I saw our church is collecting blankets for charity, so that's where they'll go. But it wasn't something I planned. It's also giving me time to use up some yarn and experiment with new-to-me stitch combinations.

For January, I cut out a bunch of tote bags and zippered pencil pouches for OCC. Once I get this week's alterations finished, maybe I can sew what is cut out. It's so tempting to do the fun stuff, but I need to do business stuff first.

I finished something I began last month. My apple apron. It is also 2 sided but I do not like the other side at all. Here is the side I like. I wanted a LHOP style but this is what fit my material. I want to make a sewing machine cover and a hanging kitchen towel or kitchen scarf with the rest.
