Good Morning Ladies! So far this morning I have: Fed my pack Begun gathering things I will need for the snack table at work. Sliced the summer sausages, beef and pork. Gathered my tether (work phone) and tablet.
All I have left is make my bed and get ready for work.
I hope Lori likes the spread.
After I get home I want to unpack whatever I bring home.
Wash the livingroom blankets.
I know I have a large proposal to do at work this morning and there will be a small one too. Plus invoices. My brain will shut down when I get in my door I am thinking. 1 proposal is for a coporate client and is very involved. The other should be fairly simple. I had to hand back the invoice I was given yesterday with notes for more detail.
Gina how are you holding up? Michelle I am glad you mom went home again.
Have a blessed day ladies!

Ta-da's - showered & dressed
- dogs walked and fed
- email read and replied to
- quiet time done
- coffee and breakfast
To-do's: - Teach classes/lessons (7 over the course of the day, ranging from 30-45 minutes)
- Tidy the front living room. That's where the piano is and I have a student coming in person this afternoon. It also happens to be the best place to iron (space and light) and I was hemming pants in there yesterday... I think I put away my sewing box and all the rest, but a sharp eye and a swift broom are still on the agenda for that room.
- If time allows, I'll just sweep the entire first floor
- I'm want to take advantage of a very long work weekend DS1 has planned starting today and reclaim my dining room once again. That will take a while. I will find the table, and shift all of his study stuff to his desk (which is covered with other study and work materials). I will do my very best not to confuse all of his notes on medications. If I can't, then I'll leave those). But the rest will go.
Mel, the spread at work sounds nice. Gina, that's so frustrating. I'm glad for a Friday myself this week. Things have been hectic but not in a day-to-day, normal, familiar way. There is extreme drama going on in extended family. It's not all the same "stuff," different issues for different relatives in different parts of the country, but it IS all truly "hard" stuff; sometimes there is someone to blame, but sometimes, there isn't. It's hard when you can't do anything for someone other than pray for and "sit" with them (even if you're sitting far, far away). It can be hard for that person, too, because grief sometimes translates as anger and they can lash out. I don't take it personally, but I'm on my guard... does that make sense? I'm also working hard on NOT judging; I'm not living those situations directly. They aren't breaking any of the commandments. But you know how it is - someone shares with you and you catch yourself thinking, "Really...?" So far, I've been successful at keeping anything like that from coming out of my mouth. On the local front, the older two boys are working long, long hours - while they don't have time to get into any "trouble," I try to keep an eye out and make sure they're getting enough sleep before getting behind a wheel again. I've pretty much given up on making sure they're fed decent food. DS3 has lost his enthusiasm for completing school work, so I'm trying to force a horse to drink without drowning it. And, I lost three clients last week. That hurt. None quit because they were dissatified with their experience; they all had reasons that I supported. But UGH that was almost 10% of my clientele. And it takes a lot more time to get a new client than it does to work with them. So that's another thing I'm pecking away at. And there are good things coming, too, which need attention. It's just been... a lot this week. I had a student turn up late to his lesson yesterday and he kept apologizing. I reassured and, to be honest, I got things done during that time that I wouldn't have other wise. DS1 is working a long shift today. DS2 has a normal shift, but will come home and pick up DS3 for some tkd practice tonight. DH & I will be on our own (I suspect that will look like watching Perry Mason and crocheting). I had the urge to make afghans lately; not my normal project, and I've almost finished a second one. I was wondering WHAT I was goign to do with these. Then I saw that our church is collecting... blankets this month. Well, now I know why I had the urge.

Lori was shocked, impressed and very very happy when she saw the spread. As was my boss who began munching while I was setting it out. Men... Attachments:

Good morning ladies!!!
So far today I've had my quiet time, made the bed, had breakfast, took a walk, worked out (it was a stretching day), and got myself ready. I've also washed a load of towels (they are in the dryer now) and my workout clothes are in the wash.
For work today, I need to do some follow-ups, take care of a couple of little things, and then I think I'll get a head start on a project that I was supposed to start on Monday (I already have some of the items that I need for it).
On the home front, I need to load coffee and tea, pack crackers for DH's snacks next week, and scrub the kitchen. I also need to do the grocery list.
Tonight is going to be a quiet night at home and I am hoping to spend a good deal of time knitting.

Mel, that spread looks lovely. Good luck with the proposal.
Sandra, that is a lot going on. I hope that you find new students quickly.

Gina, so sorry to hear of your health issues; you are in my prayers. So far, bed is made, quiet time done, put the dishes away in the drainer, went down to get our taxes done and stopped in to say hello to my old friends where I used to work. Doubt much gets done here today beyond cooking because Ryan has the day off, so everything will get pushed to the weekend.

I’m on the way home! Once home I’ll rest. Didn’t get much rest in the hospital. Not that staff kept bothering me during the night. I just couldn’t sleep.
