It's been a simple and fairly easy day, but you wuldn't think so when you hear about it. DH planned to leave at 4:30 this morning. He'd woken me up before he stepped out. I must have gone back to sleep hard because he had to wake me again when his ride didn't show. I was concerned about driving in the dark, so he got DS2 up to drive him. DS2's alarm was going off anyway (yes, at 4:30 AM, he said he forgot to turn it off). Of course, I couldn't go back to sleep, but a cup of coffee and 30 minutes later, I was awake enough to realize that I had not needed to drive in the dark. DH could drive there, and I could just have drunk coffee there until the sun was up - it wasn't that long! Ah, well. DS1 left early for a long day's work. DS2 & 3 & I went to church... but DS2 sat in the car rather than Sunday School. He was having trouble staying awake. 🤦🏻♀️ We came home and had lunch. DS3 & I dropped some instruments off for repair (they are only open 10 AM to 6 PM on weekdays, and it's hard to get there). Then we got his groceries for his classes... at the grocery store, guess what we saw: We came home and put those things away. Then DS2 was going to Buccee's to buy gas for the week, so we rode along. No one wants to miss a trip to Buccee's. Now I'm here. I need to send out an email, and then I'm going to work on dinner. I'll crochet after dinner. Hope you all had a restful Sunday

We went to church. On the way home stopped by Walmart and the feed store. Once home I put pinto beans in to soak. Dh asked me to add ground beef to it but didn’t have any so I ran to town. Took longer than usual because trail riders were heading to the fairgrounds to stay for the night before continuing to Houston for the rodeo parade. This group is huge….approximately 1,200 riders and around 20 wagons. Now I’m doing lots of laundry.
