DS has class and he is making something with salmon and orzo. I got gluten free orzo so I won't need to be sure DH has something else; I'm curious to see how it is.
Some weeks, DS's class supplies (food) fit right into our budget. This week... wowzers. It was a lot of money at checkout. Salmon isn't cheap!

I have the place to myself for two days, so tonight I am roasting a sweet potato for my dinner. Whatever I eat this weekend will all be vegetarian!

Tonight I am fixing veggie lo mein for my dinner. If Ryan is hungry when he gets home late tonight, he can eat up what is left.

DS's class this afternoon is a pastry dish (keylime tarts). I am putting a recipe for steak pizzaiola in one slow cooker and polenta an another.
I'm a little skeptical about the pizzaiola recipe (in a slow cooker...?) but I bet it will taste fine all the same.

How did the pizzaiola recipe turn out?
Tonight we are having Italian chicken/veggie pasta. Basically, we grilled some chicken yesterday and cut it up. I am roasting a cut up pepper and some cut up carrots right now. All of that will go into a tomato sauce with a frozen pesto cube and some garlic and I'll sere it over pasta.

How did the pizzaiola recipe turn out? It was very meh. We ate it, but i don't think anyone will ask for it again. However, it was served with polenta made with cheese, and THAT was very well received by everyone. Tonight we're having grilled pork chops, orzo, and maybe some air fried okra.

There's still a lot of the chicken left so I imagine that's what we'll have. Last night neither of us ate much at all...we were too tired.

Wednesday's dinner was a slow cooker version of curried chicken. It was... yuck. It smelled awful. It tasted better than it smelled, but not good. The boys didn't mind. Thankfully, no leftovers.
Thursday afternoon, DS made a very nice chicken/cashew/vegetable dish for dinner. It had mild but good flavors. We had it with rice.
Today, his teacher had to cancel class but she gave him all the information to cook a meal, and he wants to try it on his own. It's some sort of shrimp/pasta dish. I'm grateful he's cooking since we will be in a bit of a hurry to eat and leave for tkd tonight.

You'll have to let us know how dinner goes tonight.
Tonight we are having Cajun rice with ground beef. Think dirty rice, but without the liver.
