I hope it's curious and not plain nosy π
Is there any food/prepared dish that you just do not like and cannot seem to learn to like?
For me, it's tomato soup. I do not know why, but I very much dislike it. The last time I remember being faced with it in a school lunch, I was six. I remember looking at that bowl and just... ugh. Later, when I said I didn't like it because of having it at school, my mom commented, "Oh, no, you never liked tomato soup, even before you ever went to school."
ANYWAY...
Guess what they served last night at church. I told myself, it's good, healthsome food, eat it. I put my nose to the grindstone, and finished it before anything else, one spoon after another (to get it over with). DS3 was eating with his friends, sitting at another table.
On the way home, he tentatively shared that he didn't like the soup. (It was the frist time he'd ever had tomato soup.) He said, "I like tomatoes, but I didn't like that soup." I asked if he liked tomato sauce, and he said he did... but not the soup. I told him how I just ate mine to get it over with. He said he trid that, but he reached a point where he "just couldn't" make himself take another bite. I couldn't help but laugh, he sounded so mystified. Sounds like he inherited my distaste for it, if not my resolve to just eat the food that's in front of me.
So, is there anything that you "just can't" make yourself take another bite of?

Tomato soup is up there for me, along with split pea soup.

There are several. Cream of wheat/grits just can't do it. I had to as a kid and the texture just... no.
I am not a fan of any soup though I do like clam chowder and chicken noodle soup but ONLY Progresso.

Shellfish. Even before I developed an allergy to it, I just could not stand oysters, shrimp, clams, etc. or anything with seaweed. Now I wonder if it was my body's way of saying there was a problem. My youngest always had trouble eating bread. She would eat a sandwich and leave the bread behind and I'd fuss at her for being so wasteful. Fast forward a few years and we found out our girls both have Celiac.
