Today: - grocery shopping
- zoom meeting with friends in the afternoon
It's crazy, but I don't think we have anything else we need to do today! If possible, I'm going to get DH to help me pull some boxes out of a space under our back porch. But it doesn't have to happen today.
And everyone will be home for dinner tonight.
Have a great day, ladies!

Good Morning Ladies! Sandra a simple day is good now and then, even God rested from His labors!
Today MJ and I celebrate 40 years married! We are having a small celebration with our neighbors. Our children are not interested.
I got MJ a gift and some new clothes. They are on his chair waiting for him to get up. I have another set I am saving for our trip. I might get him another group if he likes these. Then he will have fresh duds for all of our vacation. Only 2 days away but I took 4 days off.
The gift he will get during the celebration is a cover for his grill. One that will cover the entire grill and is made by Blackstone, the company that makes his grill.
I have drunk over 1/2 my water and I am ready for a bagel and coffee.
It is 6 am and I want to be at the Benji sale when it opens, at 9. I may not get the Barbies, they will probably be priced too high but I might at least get a good look! I might be able to swing 1.
Bagel and coffee. The breakfast a lot of folks in the mysteries I read have. Or a muffin and so on. Always a bakery around! And ALWAYS coffee or tea, hot!
I almost messed up my coffee... I set it up earlier and got distracted. Thinking 3 jobs ahead like usual. So when I turned it on it was done in under a minute... I had forgotten to put in water... I made it a bit too strong too but it works.
On my agenda today are some regular things that need doing: Laundry Move a pile of limbs to the curb Take out trash and recycling.
The laundry will go in as soon as MJ is out of bed, part of my clothes are in there. Drop off the Amazon box
I love having my windows open! It is 50 outside and... 71 inside. How that happens is beyond me. It should be in the mid/high 60s inside at best. Yesterday we hit 81 so I think we will go higher today than the predicted 74.
I got about 1/2 my fabric put away. I am trying to weed out and organize it as I go. I found some I didn't know I had, that would work as removable cushion covers for my tropics theme in the backyard.
Have a blessed day ladies!

I'm meeting a friend for lunch. She lives about an hour away so it'll take up a couple of hours of my day. On my way I'll drop off eggs with a customer. When I get home I'll get in one of gardens and hoe up grass so I can start planting in there. Watermelons, cucumbers, and squash go in this garden (the one I used last year). In the other one (from a few years ago) I'll plant everything else (peas, beans, herbs, tomatoes, etc). Congratulations Mel on 40 yrs of marriage!

Today will be devoted mostly to cooking. I walked to the hospital again this morning to deliver the puzzle book to my friend, I just put a cake in the oven, and am starting a pan of rice for fried rice. There will be a potluck at church tomorrow so the food is for that. I also have hamburger thawing for our dinner tonight, and a load of wash is drying. I will need to call a plumber on Monday as we are having issues with icky water coming up into both sinks every time I do laundry. BTW I have been walking to the hospital each day for exercise; it is an easy six blocks from my house.
