Good morning, ladies.
Today will look like most days for me, plus church tonight.
I've already emptied the dishwasher, walked/fed the dogs, showered/dressed/quiet time, etc.
I will work with six students over the course of the day.
There's a release on YouTube today of a single from an album I played on (one of many, many musicians!). I will probably "attend" on my phone to throw support toward the algorithm, but I don't think I want to sit in front of a computer any longer than I need to.
I finished most of the administrative stuff for work earlier this week. I have just a bit more to get through today. It's one of my less favorite tasks, so it takes me longer than it should. Or maybe the fact it takes me so long to do is what makes me like it less.
Not sure what the household will look like. DS2 is working. I don't know DS1's schedule. He got home much later than expected last night and is still asleep. I had had no dinner plan because DH said we were going to a local business after work, but yesterday he told me that we are not. I actually had not been able to figure how we'd have time to make it back to church, but now that's a non-issue. I think I'll make the dinner I originally planned for yesterday. It's simple and it's a good day for simple.
Have a nice day, ladies.

Good morning!
Sandra, that is so cool that you got to play on an album. What is the name of it?
So far my normal morning routine is done, plus I have a load of towels in the wash. Once I move them to the dryer, I need to wash workout clothes and hang them to dry.
Should be another busy day at work. After work while DH mows the lawn, I will get caught up on the cleaning.

I just realized I haven't been on here for the past few days! Don't know why I've been forgetting. My mind has been on the lab work I'm getting right now for the oncologist (to see if the MGUS is progressing). Everything has been going well. The paperwork for sale of the 2 acres went through yesterday & sent to the courthouse to be filed so just waiting for the buyer to meet up with us to give us the other half of the down payment. That'll happen today. I'm waiting to be called back for the lab work. Then I'm stopping by Walmart for dog food, cat food & parakeet food. Then stopping by the nursery for watermelon plants (15 if they have that many), & a couple of plants for our assistant pastor's wife. When I get home I'll hoe up the grass in the areas I'll be planting. I tripped & fell going to the car so a little sore. Past few days my legs have been weak & achy but this time I tripped over something so not related to the soreness & weakness.

Sandra, that is so cool that you got to play on an album. What is the name of it? It was a very cool experience. A lot of learning for me. The album is Uke Heads. If you go do this link: www.ukeheads.com/listen you can listen to the full album or the singles that have been released on You Tube. There was also a CD run, but I don't know how many are left.

Be careful with the falling, Gina. Might not be bad to mention it to the doctor, either. It's crazy when you think about how much kids fall all the time and then they just walk away. I fell two months ago, and I still am feeling it. Just in one spot, but still.

I am still having problems bending over, so I won't be mopping as planned today. Every Good Friday my church does something called Doing Good Friday, where they go out in the community and do chores for people. I asked for them to come and haul away my fallen tree limbs from the past few storms, so I am waiting on that. My bed is made, quiet time done, and a load of clothes folded and put away. Not sure what will get accomplished with my lame hip, but we will see.

Merrilee, I love that. Last time we were in Texas (for just 5 months), we attended a church that did something similar. I forgot what time of year they do it, but each year they give $200 to anyone = ANYone, not just members - who is there that day. The idea is that you will take the $200 and do something good. The stories that come back are just amazing. One of the best was from someone who wasn't even from that town. They just happened to be there that Sunday, took the money, and then wrote back later how they used it to help others.
And... DH found a way to make his afternoon appointment work after all so I am back to I have no idea what I might make for dinner or how it would work... the appointment is at 4, across town, church starts at 6:30, back on this side. I'm sure he hasn't thought about DS3 who I know will want to go to church. I may ask DS2 to either bring DS3 or drop DS3 off if DS2 has other plans.
