When it rains it pours. I have a tension rod holding up the curtain in my shower, and this morning it just randomly collapsed, so off I went to the hardware store for a replacement, but they referred me to Wally World. I also picked up a few forgotten items while there, the bed is made, quiet time done. A team from my church came this morning and hauled away the rest of my tree branches, then pulled out my stump in the front yard and filled in the hole. My yard looks so much better now. I still want to mop floors today and we will see what I have the strength for.

Today has been long. Not a terrible day, but oh so long. I will be glad to get to bed tonight.
Merrileem, your church's work at your home sounds wonderful. Not just that they served you, but to have friends supporting you.

This morning I picked up dh's suit from the cleaners, got a bale of hay from the feed store, then stopped by the church to visit with those working the yard sale. Cleaned the living room and washed dishes. Doing a lot of resting. I start having chest discomfort if I do too much. Tomorrow I will plant the watermelon plants with frequent rest breaks. Dh has gone to meet up with an old friend he hasn't seen in 30 years or so. He'll probably bring home dinner.

Went to church this morning. Almost didn't go, but decided I had to get out and see people sometime, and everyone was wonderful. I came home, did laundry and washed dishes and cleaned the kitchen. I also mopped the floors. The house looks so much better now. My church has offered to pay for Patrick's cremation, which will be a huge blessing to his wife and kids. Now I am just chilling and listening to some awesome Christian music.
