Gina, I am sure your doctor would treasure that.
Merrilee, enjoy the time to yourself.
It's DH's birthday. We'll go to church, then swing by home to pick up DS1 (he worked late last night and didn't get home until after midnight). We'll go out for brunch/lunch (DH chose the restaurant), then home for birthday pie (his choice again) and his gift.
Then we head in multiple directions. there is a "field day" event for locl church youth groups. DS2 will take DS3. We went last year... and were surprised to find ourselves the only parents there to cheer on the kids. So this year, DH & I will go to an old time jam instead. Well, that was the plan last night. Things often change around here, we'll see. Oh, and DS3 has youth tonight at church.
I'm hoping there will be time enough tonight for DH to "play" with his gift (it's not a toy, it's for working out). He's leaving to go out of town again early in the morning.
I may not have to cook for several days this week. The fridge had some leftovers in it. Yesterday was long (groceries, tae kwon do festival, Costco). Since we usually have pizza, we just brought home two pizzas from Costco. Well, DS2 was on staff at the festival and he brought home two full (leftover) pizzas from the concession. So, we have two leftover pizzas...
I hope you have an enjoyable Sunday.

We're between church services. Not sure what I'll do when we get home. I need to wash a few dishes but other than that I'll pull out the quilt fabric (didn't do that yesterday).

Went to church, put out the garbage for tomorrow's pickup, did the dishes. Now I am doing some laundry, maybe getting a head start so there is less of it to do tomorrow. It is HOT here but I am stubborn and refuse to turn on the AC til May.
