Just thinking of some older members who either aren’t with us any longer or just left.
Who remembers? Arrow Sparrow-we bonded over both of us having size 11 feet, lol! She was from Alaska and the last I heard from her she was flying to take her daughter for a medical procedure
Gerry- she was a sweet older lady who was a great crocheted and thrifter. Mel used to call her Ma
His Ellie Mae- she and her husband sent me a laptop that he had refurbished when Khori was in college and I was computerless during the week. This was in the days before smart phones!
Brian’s wife/ not sure if this was the name she used but her name was Jessica and her husband Brian was a chaplain in the army
Mom of 7- don’t remember much about her but her name stuck with me
Hugs and God bless, Helen)grammea)

Yes Helen I remember all of them. I cried when Gerry died.
I remember Jessica too. She hosted a PH get together when Brian was on a deployment.
I still visit on FB with his Ellie Mae (Jalene) now and then. They own a mountain bike business now. Designing and selling.
I always loved reading Arrow Sparrow's posts.
Mom of & I think was a Jamie.
I miss Catinhat. I loved the pictures she posted of her daughter. As well as the stories of her homestead.
Leah too. I still have the quilt she stitched from things you PH ladies donated. It is in the closet now. It is wearing and I don't know how to fix the worn spots and I don't want it destroyed. I remember how shocked my mother in law was. "Why on earth would they do that for you?" was her reaction when I showed it to her.
Army Navy Sis is now a mom with a thriving family. I have seen her now and then online somewhere.
Guimave who lives in Canada. I miss her too. She lived a unique live I am not sure I could handle!
Mountain Treadler who no longer lives on her mountain. Her stories got et when we were hacked the last time begore we moved here and oh how I wish I could get them back!
So many others. Lavender, who passed, Pam I do not remember her user name, also passed.

I remember many of those names - ArrowSparrow's posts. I would read them thoroughly, but I had two very little kids and never felt like I had the time to sit and type a thought out reply. I think Jessica's user name as Jesticalyn, or something like that.
I occasionally see posts from Leah and CatinHat. I see them more often from Heather (I think her username was Hidi). Her girls are nearly grown now.
Do you all remember a Gayle (something like that)? She passed away, too. She had a proboards site dedicated to recipes. I still go there. When trolls started to take it over, I reached out to her family asking to be an admin so I can weed them out when they post their nonsense. I'm not the only person who visits that site, but no one posts anymore. I think people visit for recipes Gayle shared and that site is still their "cook book."

I remember Hidi! I miss her. She is still on our member rolls too.
Sandra what is the link? I would like to look it over. I remember there was a lady here who gave detailed cooking advice and recipes but I can't think of her user name. She just disappeared one day. I don't think her name was Gayle but perhaps it was.
Pam was mamanut. Then we lost Wanda a year or 2 ago to an accident.

I still occasionally pop over to Gayle's board. Guimauve is still in Canada and her son is grown and on his own. Her and I keep in touch. I actually got to meet Wanda and have a picture that she gave me. There are some others that I keep track of on FB. Molly - don't remember her user name. She's outside of DC. I see posts from Ramona - again not sure of her user name. I used to be modernLydia

What a sweet thread remembering everyone! Michelle suggested I come back in, I haven't been here in a long while.
Mel, I'm curious now how my life is unique 🤣
Indeed, ds is grown (he's 25), and flew away 4 years ago. He is a missionary and lives in western Canada.

Guimauve, Welcome home! Yes Redneck Ruthie I think was her. Her daughter is here somewhere.
Kristen your life was unique to me, you did so much on your own. Worked 2 jobs, took care of your mum, you son was so grown up, even when he was little. It seemed a busy but peaceful life. I enjoyed your posts so much and have missed reading them. I hope you are back and have time to post now and then.

I never thought anything of how I did or needed to do things, I just figured it was a normal part of my life. I ran into an old friend yesterday (a man) that said something that made me feel better about a lot of things. He told me that he and some others I know we're talking about me and they thought I handled a lot of negative things with a lot of class and grace. I never really saw it like that, but I'm glad it at leastlooked like that because I'm sure I'm not always classy and graceful 😉

I remember someone named "Avie." At least I think that was her name. Think she lived in Oklahoma.
