Good morning ladies, today is Friday, weekend is coming yayyyy. For me that doesn't really matter much, because I have been home since this whole lock-down Corona situation started. I think that was the middle of March. Seriously though, I don't mind. For me personally, the Pandemic is a hidden blessing, because it gave me the time I needed to heal. I was more exhausted from taking care of my husband than I thought. It makes me think that he would have loved this situation. Me being home all day.... Well, anyway, fear not, there is something good in everything.
Today I have to work later. I have a deadline to meet for 3 projects, yikes.... So I have to tackle those. I also need to make my bed and work on my sewing room. I am so excited because yesterday I ordered a kitchen floor cupboard as a cutting table. It will give me extra storage for my fabric. So I am really excited.
It is simple, but the measurements are perfect. It is 150cm long, 60cm wide and 84.8cm high, so perfect for cutting fabric. The drawers are awesome for storing rulers and cutters and whatever needs to be stored and underneath are shelves for fabric with doors so the cats can't get to it. The price was awesome too, 250 Euros, so roughly 280 Dollars. My house is really starting to look good. Okay I am rambling... lol. Please forgive me. I am just so excited. I have also bought a chest and a lamp for my living room and I already picked out the other furniture. Wanna see? Well, since it is only 9.21 you are still sleeping so you don't have a choice .
It says sewing machine that is why I had to have it....lol.
oh and here is the wall unit I want to buy....
Sorry for the long post, just totally excited and blessed.
For dinner I think I will make pea salad and fish.
Here is your verse for the day: Is 44:8 Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it ? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.
Love you all Doris

Good Morning Ladies! Doris, I love how excited you are! I also love that you chose fearless to describe today. You see yesterday I was pushed, dragged and cajoled into fighting for MJ to get the insurance premium waiver. They gave it to us, then yanked it back and upped the premium! Unbeknownst to me, my sons contacted their uncle, the ONLY person on the planet that can convince MJ to do anything, and he said fight. So MJ gave me consent to fight. I am so unsure, I have never fought something like this before and so now I am going to dig into all our info, write letters to all his drs. (Kidney, heart, neurosurgeon, infectious disease specialist) and see what we can do. That $700 a month is killing us. Yesterday I won a small victory, I called out electric company and got them to lower our KWH cost from .21c to .16c. Plus we get free nights from 9p to 7a. My hope is now we can use the ac during the day too, at least keep it at 80.
So I have already: Watered Fed pets Put clothes in the dryer. Still need to: set up the weekly pill tray deep clean front room tidy kitchen We have to go to Walmart / Sam's (MJ's pills were not ready yesterday when mine were) I forget what else... maybe an heb run... that can wait though. Not sure on food either.

Good morning!
Your house sounds lovely, Doris, and I'm excited for you that everything is coming together so nicely!
Mel- oh my! Prayers and good luck to you with that mess with insurance!
I've been slow this morning. Getting ready to do a once over in the bathrooms and sweep the floors. I have some meat in the fridge that I need to take of, too.

Doris, I totally hear you. People from my church tell me how much healthier I look now, and I had not realized just how beaten down I had looked toward the end of caring for Darrell. And I am taking a closer look at my house and though on the surface I have always kept it fairly neat, look harder and the filth is everywhere. This morning so far I have made the bed, eaten breakfast, done my quiet time, watered my garden, planted beets. Now for dishes, laundry and I am doing a serious clean out of my refrigerator, scrubbing all the shelves and such.

Doris, you have great taste in furniture. I love solid wood furniture and, well, anything in wood.
