No matter how hard I tried to find a different adjective, my mind keeps returning to faithful. Why, because God is faithful, if we trust in him and let him do his job, he will always come through for us, even when we are not where we should be in our lives with him. Yesterday I was pretty distraught about a letter from the IRS concerning my tax return. They needed a Power of Attorney from my stepson, which I sent him a long time ago and have been begging him to sign up until yesterday. I prayed, I cried, I talked to a brother in the church, who is my best friend's husband. He said... be patient and wait on God. I was prepared to go pick out a state-side attorney to intermediate, but I waited on that, prayed some more and went to bed. Then the thought dropped into my mind.... call the IRS talk to them. Did that this morning, she will process it and send the documents to the heirs of at my address and put the money in my account.... bingo. Thank you Lord, if we learn to wait and trust, he is faithful to come through. No wonder his word says: Pr 3:5-7 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. I like verse 7 be not wise in thine own eyes.... very true. If it would have been me, I would have involved that lawyer, spend a lot of money and be stressed out. Now I am at peace, all is good. I wished them a nice life and move on.... Thank you Lord. Well today I already got laundry put up and a load in the washer. Not sure I will do a lot today, it is warm. I will put up the rest of the laundry and make my bed and piddle around, we'll see what happens. love you all . Remember Trust in God and he'll take care of you.

Good Morning Ladies. Doris isn't God amazing? Yet people still do not believe in him. Their loss, for certain. I think a weekly reminder is a good thing.
Well I was up and in the back garden before 7! Weeded a little, I think Monday I have helpers coming. Then I trimmed the dying rose bush, and the tree that is killing it. I came in did my Bible reading and prayer, now sipping coffee planning my day. I think I will put chops in the crockpot for dinner. I have some nice ones and I have mashed potatoes and green beans in mind to go with them. Since we don't eat until 7 or later on D days I can put them in about noon. In the mean time I want to: Put away laundry and start a new load. Empty the dishwasher Clean the filter in the dishwasher. Stuff on the top rack is often not getting clean or having stuff stuck on it, even though I basically wash everything before I put it in there... and I gave up doing flat ware/ utensils in there. Tidy the kitchen Get out chicken to thaw and process for speedy meals. Not sure what else I will do today. Depends on my energy level which has not been good and my pain level which today is higher than yesterday.

Today I need to plan some meals and cook. Dd2 is working full-time now that her summer class is over, but she doesn't have a microwave at work, so I'm trying to come up with lunch ideas for her.
The rest of today is the usual dishes and laundry and whatever else I may have energy to do. It's really hot out and I plan to stay inside.

Doris, it is for our good to wait on the Lord. So many times we pray for the Lord to fix a problem then we get in His way trying to fix it ourself. Mel, yesterday evening I went to the back garden to pick tomatoes. I saw Boomer (one of the horses) in there eating grass & weeds in an area where nothing is planted. Unfortunately for him to get out he ran through the beans but don't think he did much damage. He got in through a side gate that wasn't latched well.
I'm working til 4. On my way home I'm buying some canning jars. Right now our stove isn't working so I can't hot water bathe tomato sauce but want to have the jars ready for when the stove part arrives & dh puts it on. This evening I need to clean out & organize the freezer. Going to put green beans from the garden into freezer bags & freeze. Also pick more peas & beans.
