Good morning dear Ladies,
weekend is over and I am back. I chose Meritorious today, because God is worthy of praise. He has done so many wonderful things for us, mainly wrapping himself in flesh and dying on the cross, so that we can be reconciled with him. How awesome. If that is not worthy of praise, I don't know what is. I was looking at the Do Da's yesterday, when I came back from church. For a lot of you there is not much difference between Sunday and every other day, is there. Same chores. I saw dusting and mopping, my goodness ladies, take a break. Monday is a good day to mop. Even God rested on the 7th day and looked back at his work and saw that it was VERY good. We need to do that too. Take Sunday for church, for God and for yourself and your family. The house will still be "dirty" tomorrow . Nobody is going to clean it for you. Which brings me to my chores for the day....
Today I already cleaned the bathroom and made my bed. I have clothes in the dryer and I still have to clean my kitchen. Depending if my shoulder allows me to, I will vacuum. Since I have this cordless vacuum cleaner it has become much easier to just grab it, and run through the house with it. This afternoon I have a dentist appointment to get my teeth cleaned and when I get back, I want to see if I can work with the tension on my sewing machine. It leaves loops when I free motion quilt and I hate that. So anyway I saw this video yesterday and she always stopped sewing lifting the foot and adjusted the tension. I didn't know that, so I am going to work with that. I also want to try out these templates for free motion quilting. I am sure it takes practice, but I am kind of excited about that, cause it will make quilting easier. When I am in the States I am going to see if I can find a bigger version of those templates as well.
For dinner tonight is cabbage rolls, which are already in the crockpot. I will freeze one and eat one with mashed potatoes.
Well, that is it for me today.... My shoulder hurts already. Don't know how much I'll get done. Wednesday I have a doctor's appointment. Probably need surgery, but hopefully he has an appointment in August for me, so I can get this done and fly to the States in October.
Love y'all
