Good morning ladies...
wealthy Wednesday... why wealthy? I heard an awesome sermon about giving Sunday. One of the verses was... Maleachi 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. The Lord is our wealth, why worry about earthly possessions, when our Father owns the cattle on a thousand hills? No, I am not talking about tithing. I just want to point out that we worry too much about money, and we don't give God the chance to bless us, not just with money or possessions, but also with peace, joy, happiness, salvation and and and. There is no limit to his blessings if we are faithful to him in all things.
Which brings me to stewardship. As for me, I have purposed that I need to be a better steward of what God has given me. I need to lose weight, take care of myself and also of my home, my cats, my church everything, because it all comes from him. So today I have already made my bed, weighed myself and was shocked: No more sweets for me. I put up some clothes as well. I still need to eat brunch. I really need to get up earlier. This afternoon I have a doctor's appointment because of my shoulder. I will keep you posted on that. Tonight is church....and that pretty much covers it for today. Part of good stewardship is to also allow yourself to rest and not overdo it.
Brunch will be fried potatoes and Polish sausage and roasted bell peppers. For dinner I will eat a sandwich, because I have to go shopping anyway after the doc and then straight to church. So I will buy something.
Have an awesome and wealthy Wednesday ladies.
