Hi all! Been a long time since I have logged in! I can honestly say that I have missed you all! I have a question and this is the best place I could think of to help me decide. I am a stay at home mom to 5. All my kiddos are grown (ages: 17,19,20, 22, 27) ALL still at home! 27 year old is here with her 1 yr old till hubby gets out of Marines in Oct. They will live with us until their house is built which won't be started on until hubby comes home. 22 and 20 yr old are in school and 19 year old works full time (others work pt) my 17 year old is a senior and we homeschool.
Question: I have been a stay at home momma for 22 years. I enjoy being home and all things domesticated. Hubby enjoys it too! My 17 year old just took a job at a local homeschool co op to keep the "teachers" children....mostly 2 year olds. She works Mon-Wed (8a.m.-2:30p.m.) and schools after. She needs help. The co op has told her she can find help. She offered to me....however, I am a bit wishy washy about it. I REALLY like being home! The little bit of extra money would be nice.....and I am a breast cancer survivor. I am not supposed to lift anything over 20lbs for the rest of my life! I also suffer from fibromyalgia. Some days are good, some days are very good and some days are bad. I am just in a quandary over whether I should do this or not. I help my daughter with her baby a lot. Having been a cancer patient makes me very high risk for covid. Can you offer a bit of guidance. One minute I think, okay, I will do this....then a few minutes later I think, my home and possibly my health might suffer....
I also have ideas of a home business of sewing items to sell.....what to do what to do! Please don't say do them both!! After taking care of 4 or 5 2 yr olds and a 4 month old (at the co op) I would be wiped out! I suppose I am looking for someone to tell me what I already know!
