I just got off the phone with my MIL. One of her sisters in law was admitted the hospital a few days ago. Why? Well...
This poor woman...she has a bad heart and she also has diabetes real bad. She fell a few weeks ago and did something to her foot. Not sure what. It started turning black. She was at her dermatologist for something and found out she has abscesses on her back. He looked at her foot and told her to go to the emergency room. She has MERSA and it is in her blood stream. One artery has 100% blockage and the other has 80%. Before they could do surgey she had to be tested for COVID and she is positive.
Her husband passed several years ago from MS. She was living with one of her daughters and had just moved states to be closer to her other daughter and her grandsons.
Sorry for the book. I am just beside myself with this news.
Php 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
I wanted to give an update. Debbie is doing really well. She did lose her leg, just above the knee, but she has recovered from Covid with, so far, no side effects, the infection in her bloodstream is gone, and they were able to do the heart surgery. She is still dealing with her back, but it is getting better.
