Michelle, good for you! I'm back on track this week, too. So far, so good. I made salads last night for the rest of the week for my lunches. Also, I noticed I'm drinking more iced tea than usual so I'm cutting back on that and adding more water to see if that helps.

I really need better portion control. I'm eating all my KETO stuff, I just want to eat MORE than recommended portion sizes. It was ok to do that up till now and still lose, but it has caught up with me and I have to be more careful.
I froze a few blueberries in a baggie and am having them for a snack this evening. It's a real treat!

My kitchen scale has become my best friend for exactly that reason

I went off KETO over the holidays. It was just too much trying to stick with it and I was having serious food boredom issues.
Last night I made several servings of salads and some meals, which I put in individual serving containers. I'm already feeling better eating clean again!

I also let things slide over the holidays. I was thrilled to see I hadn't gained any weight back, but I'm having a very difficult time getting back to normal eating.

I had a yearly check-up this week and was very surprised to find I've kept off all the weight I lost over the last year. I thought for sure I had gained, since the last 6 months have been very difficult to stay on track and I cheated a lot over the holidays.
This has encouraged me greatly, because it means I have not gained anything for over a year, but have lost or stayed the same. Wow! Now I'm really motivated to lose another 50 pounds this year. I'll be interested to see my lab results in a few months when those are due, to see if my cholesterol and blood sugars have improved.
With God's help, I can do this!

I don't know what happened this weekend, but I think it has to do with stress. I completely went off track and BLEW IT. I just cannot stay on my diet while the rest of the family bakes sweets and eats whatever they want right in front of me.

I had a bad weekend too. Travelling is hard enough, but a wedding with a cookie table (that I helped set up) completely overcame my discipline (which is pretty non existent on a good day). Oh well. Today is a new day!

I just cannot stay on my diet while the rest of the family bakes sweets and eats whatever they want right in front of me. My trouble point is when I'm making the sweets. How do I know how it turns out unless I try it??!! And if I make multiple things... it's multiple "tastes" (A taste ends up as a portion, not just a bite)

The last month I had to completely go off KETO, as the food, along with stress, was irritating my stomach and making me sick. On top of that, the food boredom was so intense I think my body just revolted and refused to keep it down.
So, after a month off KETO, I feel HORRIBLE. The swelling and pain levels are really up, irritability is up, and arthritis is bad. But, I was faced with the choice of being swollen and immobile or continually sick to my stomach. At least I could keep food inside if I ate carbs! Sigh. So, the past few days I've been cutting back the carbs to the point my stomach could tolerate some fresh veggies again and I started back full KETO again today. So far there's some cramping but I'm not vomiting or running to the bathroom.
I'm hoping and praying the swelling will go down enough for me to function again.

I'm back at KETO. After a few weeks of stomach trouble, and trying to re-start a couple of times, I'm FINALLY able to do KETO again. This week is going much better.
Anyone else working on weight loss?

I am!
So far, so good. I've navigated a grad party, a restaurant trip and two different times of entertaining.

Good for you, Michelle! This morning I actually have energy again. It takes a while to get through the KETO "flu" and that period is finally over. It's nice to actually feel like accomplishing something besides sleep.

Glad that you have energy again.
I've started to weigh myself daily to be able to track not just my progress but to learn my body better.
